  1. Auto save attachments from emails sent to the group email address to the group files

If an email is sent to the group email address (i.e. group@domain.com) and it contains one ore more attachments, automatically save those attachments to the group files. Rather than hunting through the conversations for the correct message with the correct attachment, all attachments can be found in the Group Files.

    • Save Email to Group Folder

Today, I receive a LOT of project email to my own email address, and I store it in my own Outlook project folder. Unfortunately, that keeps it completely separate from the group. Now I KNOW I can forward a copy of the email to the group email address. OR, I can attach it to OneNote (which is what I'm doing right now). Why not give me the opportunity to save it directly to the Group's folder, which would store it with the Group conversations, and alert those subscribed that something important to the project has just come in. That would be…

      • Add RSS support for Outlook 2016 for Mac

Need the ability to add RSS feeds to Outlook 2016 for Mac. This feature works great for Windows Outlook 2016, this should carry over. Our school district is looking into rss feeds for our staff news, but our district is about 50% Mac. Need this functionality on both platforms.

        • URL to show Group Calendar view

A distinct URL to display a group calendar view. Currently a URL will display the calendar alongside the users calendar but only if they are a member of the group, if the group is public the URL should display the calendar.

          • Renaming groups: when renaming a group with naming policy applied then the naming policy will be reapplied after renaming the group

Renaming groups: when renaming a group with naming policy applied then the naming policy will be reapplied after renaming the group, meaning there will be double prefixes and postfixes. When renaming groups, it shoud be checked if the pre- and postfixes are already present, and if not be added (again).

            • Provide guest members full access to group calendar

Add the ability for Guest members to access the group calendar along with files and conversations. At this time you can only send invites to these members but they can not create events themselves or see the calendar.

              • Add Search and Filter in Planner

This is a feature that makes Trello great - hit the "F" key and then you can search by label or keyword or owner. Board gets filtered.

                • Add Group Categorization or Group Tags AND let us cluster groups by category

The groups list in the left pane is just one long list. I'd like to add a tag to each group (basically group metadata) so I can click little flyouts/dropdowns that help visually navigate all the groups.

                      • Shared Contacts

I was hoping that switching to O365 Groups would allow our small team to share contact information. Sadly it seems only Files and Calendars are an option.

I would very much like to have a "shared contacts" area within the group - these should be editable by the group owner(s) and be available for viewing on the Groups mobile app as well as from within Outlook.

                        • Filter tasks in Office 365 Planner based on task attributes

Add a feature to filter tasks based on attributes of the tasks, such as color codes, completion status, and date ranges. This could be displayed in a manner similar to Excel pivot-table slicers or SharePoint Content filters. This filter should allow multiple selections.

                          • Reply as group address in Outlook

Currently in order to be able to reply a message using the group email address instead of the user's, several steps have to be performed:

                            - Grant access to every user in the group using Powershell (Add-RecipientPermission -Identity $recp.Name -Trustee $user -AccessRights SendAs)

And then the users have to do, everytime, for every email they reply:
                            - Dettach the reply window to open a new one with full capabilities
                            - Click on 'From:' button
                            - Select the group email address.

This scenario should be enhanced to:
                            - Enable SendAs rights to the group so users inherit the behaviour of the…

                            • Groups should be hidden from the GAL by default

Due to the fact that is no proper validation in group names apart from suffix/prefix, the GAL is now an inconsistent mess. By default, all groups should be hidden from the GAL where admins can upon request based on the nature of the group< can un-hide them.
                              Thanks

                                • Change email address of unified group without having to change it through Powershell

One of Microsoft technician said this was a bug and need to be fixed.
When creating a unified group and having a federated domain one is not possible to change the unified group email address. I have to go into Powershell and run this command: set-UnifiedGroup techniciangroup -EmailAddresses SMTP:techniciangroup@somedomain.com,SMTP:techniciangroup@contoso.onmicrosoft.com to have it working. Please fix that.

What if a company has a policy for data to not reside in the cloud? Or they already have a structured SP site on-prem and now this is messing up how/where files are organized? And plus now this is one more place to back up (and MS doesn't seem to like to make it easy for us to back up things that are in the cloud). Groups have a lot of really good features,…

                                        • Add or delete appointment or event on Group calendar in Outlook 2016 without sending email to group members. This is possible on 365 online.

There are times when I want to put in my travel information on the calendar function, for example, so I do not need this to be an appointment where I invite everyone in the group. The online platform allows you to "uncheck" the box "send invitation to the group", which solves this problem, but on Outlook 2016, you cannot do this, it always sends an invitation. This could be fixed.
