  1. Outlook Groups - Pop out Conversation

Create a possibility to pop out the conversation in a group for reading.
Scrolling is possible but is not handy...

  2. 365 Group Deletion Policy

Currently an Owner of a group can delete that group - I'm aware soft-deletion is coming, but ideally we want to be able to stop users from deleting groups entirely. An Azure policy to specify who can delete groups would put power back with the IT Dept. This will allow us to empower users, but without the risk of them deleting groups and the content getting past the retention period and being permanently lost.

  3. Planner - Allow attachments directly from my tasks

When trying to add attachments to the tasks from "My tasks" it's grayed out. Please allow us to add files to the tasks directly from that menu.

  4. URL to show Group Calendar view

A distinct URL to display a group calendar view. Currently a URL will display the calendar alongside the users calendar but only if they are a member of the group, if the group is public the URL should display the calendar.

  6. When creating a team site, you should be able to choose Yammer or Outlook as your Group conversation experience

When you group-enable a Team site, you will now get Outlook as your default conversation experience. The choice should be up to you so that you freely can choose Yammer or Outlook as your Group conversation experience.

  7. sort the groups

I think it would be necessary to sort the groups in alphabetical order or in an order defined by the user. We should also see to consolidate groups or groups by section as it can be done with users that we are in a group.

  8. Add parent emails to school data sync to create MS classroom with parent

With SDS, we can sync MS classroom groups to our student information systems. Since the SIS should have the parent emails in it, we could invite the parents to the classroom site automatically. also, for FIRPA compliance, if a parent is removed for custody issues from the SIS, they would be removed from the classroom.

  9. Reply as group address in Outlook

Currently in order to be able to reply a message using the group email address instead of the user's, several steps have to be performed:

    - Grant access to every user in the group using Powershell (Add-RecipientPermission -Identity $recp.Name -Trustee $user -AccessRights SendAs)

And then the users have to do, everytime, for every email they reply:
    - Dettach the reply window to open a new one with full capabilities
    - Click on 'From:' button
    - Select the group email address.

This scenario should be enhanced to:
    - Enable SendAs rights to the group so users inherit the behaviour of the…

  10. Consistent navigation pane/menu for Office groups

Currently there is no consistent navigation menu when browsing through Office goups sections. It is very confusing for an end user going from conversations, to calendar, to files and then to planner.
    The UI/UX is terrible.

  11. Using Office 365 Planner

Office 365 Planner automatically creates Office 365 Group.
And User prefers to hide the group from Address lists.

It is possible to hide the Office 365 Group by setting HiddenFromAddressListsEnabled and HiddenGroupMembershipEnabled parameters as $true.
But in this case the Office 365 Group is not able to use from Office 365 Planner, too.
This is not good situation for Users.

Users prefer to be able use Office 365 Group in Office 365 Planner while the Group is set HiddenFromAddressListsEnabled and HiddenGroupMembershipEnabled parameters as $true.

This feedback is based on a customer voice from support SR.

  13. Allow anonymous link sharing for files and folders stored under office 365 groups, similar to what is available in OneDrive For Business.

Having the ability to share anonymous links will help in situations where you don't want to have an external contact as a guest member but want to share a file or folder. If there is the ability to set link expiry time that will be helpful as well.

  15. Allow msExchExtensionCustomAttribute1 to 5 to be consumed by Exchange Online.

Allow msExchExtensionCustomAttribute1 to 5 to be consumed by Exchange Online.
This would allow the replacement of distribution groups with dynamic distribution groups, eliminating the use of long-running PowerShell scripts to populate the static distribution groups.

  16. Storage Space Details

View to show how much storage space is available and has been used for Office 365 Groups.

Like a file server, we want to be able to see how much storage is in use, by who, and how close we are to running out of space.

  17. Problem with Groups calendar 'add to my calendar' feature

There is a serious UI/UX issue with the group calendars 'add to my calendar' feature.
When a user creates a new appointment in a group calendar they have the option to "send an invitation to the group" (the default) or deselect that checkbox.
First of all there is a bit of a UX issue with the terminology as a user can easily take this to mean this will send emails, meeting requests to all members of the group, which is not the case.

If a user deselects this option the appointment is created, but when any member of the group…

  18. Control Panel Hangs and Crashes

When Control Panel crashes, direct a ticket# and phone number on the screen to a team dedicated to immediate needs, such as email terminations and setups.
Waiting for Office 365 to call back is an HR liability.

  19. Add functionality into a conversation to 'acknowledge' that the item has been read and understood

When using groups it would be great to include functionality similar to a 'read receipt' to ensure that everyone has read the conversation and furthermore, being able to provide visibility of this to either the person who started the conversation and/or the group owner. This way you can ensure your message has reached your audience, or alternatively know where to close any gaps.

  20. Site content, Site Settings, Add App pages

Site content, Site Settings, Add App pages listing when clicking on the gear icon, currently redirects to listing the documents in the default document library.
Can we have acces to the proper pages to add document libraries, lists, and manage the site collection like in regular sharepoint site?

    _layouts/15/settings.aspx
    _layouts/15/viewlsts.aspx
    _layouts/15/addanapp.aspx

instead of being redirected to _layouts/15/GroupsDocuments.aspx
If groups are not meant to propose those options, why having the links proposed in the gear menu?
