  2. Add security groups to Office 365 groups

I need a way of making security groups part of an Office 365 group. I want to be able to add users to a security group and then they are automatically a member of a Office 365 group.

Dynamic group membership only appears to work for user attribute values and not their group membership.

  3. Export Teams Conversation History

Provide standard users the ability to export Teams chat history similar to how Skype kept them in Conversation History within Exchange. This would be beneficial for project and support calls to to retain the history in documentation outside of Teams.

  4. Remove meeting room from the location field if the room declines the meeting

If a user creates a meeting and invites a room that is not available (or they are not authorised to book) then the meeting room stays in the location field. As attendees see the declined room they believe that is where the meeting is happening and report that the meeting room has been double-booked. The room has not been double booked, it's just not clear to the attendees that the room declined the invite.

  6. Manually set permissions for "Everyone except external users" for modern group permissions in SharePoint O365 don't stick!

Unexpected and buggy behavior encountered when permissions are manually set using modern group permissions in a SharePoint site. If you manually assign "Everyone except external users" with "Read" access in a "Private group" SharePoint team site it will remain with those permissions until you make a change in Teams or SharePoint such as adding/removing a member. It appears that making a change in Teams or SharePoint resets default "Private group" permissions for the site and removes "Everyone except external users" from the Visitors group.

Similarly, If you manually set "Everyone except external users" with Read permissions in the Visitors group…

  7. Search field in Distribution Lists (Contact Groups)

Please introduce a SEARCH field in the Distribution Lists (Contact Groups). It would be vital, if you would have a DL of 1000 members and you want to search for one without scrolling down the list!

  8. Create unsubscribe link from Office 365 group that can be placed at the bottom of an business intranet page and circulated email.

Need to create unsubscribe link from O365 group that can be placed at the bottom of an business intranet page and circulated email.

Tried to follow below steps, but not working.
Add an Unsubscribe Link (mailto: link)
 Select the text you want to use as hyperlink
 Click on the "Add Hyperlink" icon
 Enter the URL. This should be mailto: followed by your list email and the subject keyword to unsubscribe.
    Sample:
    mailto:yourlist@yourdomain.tld?subject=remove

A click on the mailto: link will open the recipient's mail client with preset recipient and subject. The remove message with the subject "remove"…

  9. Search groups by email address (group ID) in Microsoft 365 admin center

I cannot get a search result of groups although entering the groups’ email address in the Microsoft 365 admin center search box.
I can search with the group name, and I remember that I could search groups with email address (group ID) previously.
So, I would like you to enable the search box in Microsoft 365 admin center to search groups with email address again.

  11. "Customize Guest Invite to O365 Groups"

With guest option enabled in Groups, we are looking for option to customize the invite that goes out to external users (invited as guest) where we can provide URL for Usage guidelines. At present Usage Guidelines option is present in O365 Group created from Outlook but not when Office 365 Group is created from Teams, Power BI etc.

We are looking for this option to be available in O365 Group across the board irrespective of how and using which application O365 Group is created.

  12. Allow OWA "add file" attachment direct from more than just the default "Documents" SPO Document Library

If you want to add an attachment in OWA, you can go to "Browse cloud locations". There are Groups, where you find your SharePoint Sites. But they do just display the default "Documents" document library.

If you work with SharePoint Online as file server, you definitely have more document libraries. Therefore it is required that they are browsable so that you are able to add documents from them.

  14. Implement webhook capabilities for Office 365 Groups

IT Administrator might have the requirement to trigger some actions before, during, or after the provisioning of Office 365 Groups. The same holds for the decommissioning of Office 365 Groups.

Example: we would like to apply group policies to an individual group after it has been provisioned. Today, you can achieve such goals with individual services such as SharePoint Online. You might have similar requirements coming from other services too. Or you might have the requirement that needs to be applied for all services in your tenant (e.g. disable third party apps for groups coming from SharePoint Online and Exchange…

  16. Assigning Team Policies by User Groups

Different guidelines can be set in teams. Examples include message policies, meeting policies, and team policies. These have to be laboriously assigned to users. Powershell can also be used to assign it to groups by creating a Foreach loop and applying it with appropriate filters. However, we want the assignment of policies to user groups to be regulated. Thus the guidelines are also automatically implemented for new users. This is a massive administrative benefit.

  17. Restore the functionality for mailmerge to work properly with a text datasource when run from a macro

Previous to Office 365 version 1803 mailmerge executed from from a macro (using a text data source) worked properly. Now, data field delimiters from the text datasource get pulled in as part of the merged data. This seems to be related to a zoom setting, because changing the zoom setting will intermittently fix the issue. Microsoft support recommended I create this post here as the next step in getting this resolved. Reference Office 365 support ticket #12843700 for details.

  18. OWA interface Outlook o365 make visible all the distribution lists in which an email address has been entered

In the OWA interface of Outlook office 365 there is the need to make visible all the distribution lists in which an email address has been entered. In the outlook client this is possible:
    1. it is possible to see which e-mail addresses belong to a distribution list
    2. you can also see what are all the distribution lists in which an email address is entered.
The OWA interface lacks these last possibilities, that is the number 2.
It is required to make visible all the distribution lists to which an email address belongs.
