Prevent users from deleting emails from Office 365 groups
Prevent users from deleting emails from Office 365 groups or can we assign permission to group member as read only or write or modify

Add or delete appointment or event on Group calendar in Outlook 2016 without sending email to group members. This is possible on 365 online.
There are times when I want to put in my travel information on the calendar function, for example, so I do not need this to be an appointment where I invite everyone in the group. The online platform allows you to "uncheck" the box "send invitation to the group", which solves this problem, but on Outlook 2016, you cannot do this, it always sends an invitation. This could be fixed.

Exclude Groups from the AAD Groups Expiration Policy
Excluding a group from the AAD Groups Expiration Policy will allow for an organization to designate well known long term Groups to never be subject to the expiration policy.
For example, if there is an Executive or HR team in an organization, the likelihood of those teams disbanding is very small so you'd want to not require them to renew their Group if there's an org wide expiration policy on groups at something like 31 days.
Current AAD Groups Expiration Preview allows for admins to 'Enable' the policy to specific groups but this would leave all self service Groups and…

Flag a conversation or create a planner task from a conversation
In Office 365 Groups the conversation leads to ideas or tasks that have to be done. To be able to address that we would like to be able to flag a conversation (as in shared mailboxes) oder directly create a planner task from a conversation.
This makes sure, good ideas and inputs from discussions are not lost.77 votes -
Ability to export the members in a group distribution list to a CSV or Excel file without using Power Shell
The same way we can export a list of all of our distribution lists, I would like the ability to export the members of a group distribution list to a CSV or Excel file without using Power Shell.

Hide group membership for certain distribution lists specially the moderated
When a user sends email to a moderated list, he can expand the list and bypass the moderator, since he is sending to a series of individual emails.
Also, we generate lists for classes, faculty, etc. what classes a student is taking is personal information, but anybody on campus would be able to see this. We had this issue pre-exchange 2003, but the ‘hideDLmembership’ attribute fixed it on prem, and FIM is syncing this info with O365, would be great to have it working online so we don’t have to use 3rd party mail servers.73 votes -
Add Search and Filter in Planner
This is a feature that makes Trello great - hit the "F" key and then you can search by label or keyword or owner. Board gets filtered.

Migrate SharePoint calendar (list) to O365 Group calendar (Exchange)
Migrate an existing calendar in SharePoint to O365 Group calendar. We understand SharePoint calendar is a list however there is no export option to easily import events into the O365 group calendar. When attempting to import .ics files into O365 calendar it only allows to import user calendar and no option for Group calendar.

Add moderation of delivery to and from O365 groups.

Search field in Distribution Lists (Contact Groups)
Please introduce a SEARCH field in the Distribution Lists (Contact Groups). It would be vital, if you would have a DL of 1000 members and you want to search for one without scrolling down the list!

cross tenant shared mailbox
Given Company A and Company B each having a O365 tenant and they would like to work closed together on Mail. So please allow users from A to be added to B's shared mailboxes. This would allow multiple benefits - including more cross-company collaboration with the Business features, while maintaining security. In addition, company A & B could share a internet mail domain.

Enable Ability to Whitelist External Sharing Domains for Each Office 365 Group, Similar to SharePoint
In classic SharePoint Sites we have the ability to whitelist/blacklist specific domains for external sharing for a specific ite. In Office 365 Groups this ability is not available. You can whitelist/blacklist across all the Office 365 groups, but not each group that is create. We want to move over to Office 365 groups, but this is the one functionality that is blocking us from replacing classic SharePoint sites with Office 365 groups.

Renaming Email Address or Adding Alias
IN order to accept emails from outside organization and having multiple tenants, option to rename email address or add another SMTP address as primary SMTP should be there. We cannot encourage users to use Office 365 Groups unless the email address is organization friendly.

Connecting Existing SharePoint team sites to existing Office 365 groups
As of now, we have option to connect existing SharePoint team sites to new Office 365 groups. But if there is an option to connect existing SharePoint sites to existing Office 365 groups, it will be good.

Restore the functionality for mailmerge to work properly with a text datasource when run from a macro
Previous to Office 365 version 1803 mailmerge executed from from a macro (using a text data source) worked properly. Now, data field delimiters from the text datasource get pulled in as part of the merged data. This seems to be related to a zoom setting, because changing the zoom setting will intermittently fix the issue. Microsoft support recommended I create this post here as the next step in getting this resolved. Reference Office 365 support ticket #12843700 for details.

Teams Chat - delete threads or messages
Teams chat quickly becomes very cluttered with junk. I want to be able to delete an entire chat thread if its no longer useful. I want to be able to delete a specific message in a chat thread. Sometimes they have annoying stickers or GIFs, or it was sent by mistake.

Hide Office 365 groups from Skype for business online search
I need to hide Office 365 groups from Skype for Business searches. We have already hidden Office 365 groups from our GAL, and they don't show up in our on premise Skype users' searches (we're hybrid SFB, currently migrating to SFB onine), however users that are migrated to Skype for business online show all the Office 365 groups in their Skype searches.
Office 365 support has agreed this is a bug, but do not have an ETA on resolution. It would appear that this has been on a user voice request for quite some time, time for a fix!

Add 'Tags' to help define O365 Group purposes
Office 365 Groups only allows basic tagging for data classification. We would like the ability to add additional custom tags that our organisation defines to help us better organise our Office 365 Groups.
These tags might be group purpose - Project Group, Office Group, Team Group, Community Group etc
But they might also be sub business (we have 16 individual businesses), might be core office locations, might be regions, etc.
This is important as we get audited frequently and may be required to provide all our project information to an auditer. With the flat structure in Office 365 groups at…

Filter tasks in Office 365 Planner based on task attributes
Add a feature to filter tasks based on attributes of the tasks, such as color codes, completion status, and date ranges. This could be displayed in a manner similar to Excel pivot-table slicers or SharePoint Content filters. This filter should allow multiple selections.

Allow disabling (or a configurable path) for file sharing for Groups
I get the advantage of having a file share ability in Groups. However, this works completely outside all of our current document management and backup policies. What if a company has a policy for data to not reside in the cloud? Or they already have a structured SP site on-prem and now this is messing up how/where files are organized? And plus now this is one more place to back up (and MS doesn't seem to like to make it easy for us to back up things that are in the cloud). Groups have a lot of really good features,…
