Enable Group Calendars to show in Outlook 2016
Outlook 2016 allows access to Conversations, Calendar, Files and Notebook. However, it's not possible to view a Group Calendar in the Calendar pane, which means that you cannot display side-by-side calendar views with any other Outlook/SharePoint calendar. It'd be great if this feature could be added!
At this point, all users on the Monthly Channel for Office 365 ProPlus should see all their groups in the left navigation pane in the calendar module.
Users on Semi-Annual Channel and Semi-Annual Channel (Targeted) should see all their groups in the left navigation pane in the calendar module in builds /after/ 1808.
Whichever version you’re on, you can always go to the group from the mail module, and then press “Calendar” from the ribbon. As well, you can also right click on the group in the left nav in the mail module, and favorite it; this will also make the group appear in the left nav in the calendar module.
This is great for my Office 365 Desktop subscription. But when will this feature be rolled into the current Office Desktop -2019?
Our nonprofit licenses Office 365 onlin-only apps, plus volume licensing for Office Desktop.
I'm currently upgrading our staff to Office 2019, and am disapointed to see group calendars behave differently between Office 365 and Office 2019. Particularly this much desired ability to list calendar groups in the navigation pane with checkboxes so we can combine group calendars in side-by-side and overlay views.

I'm afraid this makes the assumption that you are a member of the group. What if you just want to view the public group calendar in Windows and keep it in your calendar view? Works fine on Mac, though! At present you can only "view" the desired group calendar by going to email view, right click on groups, click browse groups, select View next to your modern group and then click Calendar in the ribbon, but there doesn't seem to be an easy way to bookmark this so every time you want to view the calendar you have to go through that process.
Now we may be able to finally fully utilize the O365 Group Calendars,

Viewing Office 365 Group calendar is important for both Outlook on the PC and for the mobile devices.

I'll second "G B"'s comment. As of this moment it is impossible even to view Office 365 Group calendars in mobile devices. These group calendars show up when searching for calendars to add in the Outlook Android app, but they are not permitted to be added. There is no more OWA, nor Office Groups app. Exchange Activesync doesn't sync group calendars. And the worst part of all? I can't even use my phone's browser to view group calendars through outlook.office365.com like I can with a desktop. It's the same bloody website!

Dont forget group calendars in the Outlook App... essential for mobile co-workers. (especially after the Groups App was binned - somewhat prematurely!)
Is there a way to get Desktop Outlook to View the group emails going back and fourth?
Am I understanding correctly that it is still not possible to see a Group calendar on the desktop version of Outlook for Mac? Is this done intentionally to force users to the Office 365 platform?
It would be great for this feature on Outlook For Mac '16
I think this is fixed?
Here's what I see in Outlook 2016 version 1805:
Any updates on this?
It would be great to have this update in Outlook for IOS too. This is the reason I really miss the old Groups app. It seems like a very basic thing to be able to see the calendar
Not sure if anyone here has seen this article:
Check the note, Outlook must be cached in order for groups to show up.

Please enable for Outlook Mac and iOS too please! This basic functionality is long since (2015) overdue.
I am afraid it's a VERY wrong idea. Imagine you are like me, i.e. a member of a dozen or more groups (remember that both teams and Planner create them). My Calendar page will look like a scrapyard with DOSENS of calendars.
Currently, Teamshas a BUG. When you create a meeting within a particular channel, it shows that all members are invited by default, but in reality the meeting only shows in your personal calendar. Everybody else stays clueless! They can only stumble across the meeting if they look at the particular channel in Teams, and then they can click Add to my calendar, which is the WRONG behavior. The logical way to do things is automatically copy meeting events created within a Teams channel to personal calendar of all group members, but NOT show all the redundant junk calendars in Outlook! If you start showing them, that will create a DISASTER for all those who a members of numerous groups, let alone selecting the right calendar to work with...
