The typical tenant of worldwide companies are hybrid tenants with ADSync to a local AD structure.
Please add local and Azure AD Groups the option to tag the Group:
1. Yammer Group
2. Groups Group
3. distribution Group
4. security Group
5. Teams Group
You can switch off or on all or two or three or only one. If you switch on Security, Yammer and Teams the group will be deploy. If you turn it off, the group will be delete or archive.
Behind a Yammer and Teams group are only one SharePoint Online Site and Exchange Online.
-> all of the administration is possible OnPremise in the local AD and in Azure AD
