Consistent Send As/on Behalf of across all apps and platforms
Send As/Send on Behalf of (Group) is far too difficult and inconsistent across platforms.
Outlook 2016 can change the 'From' line to Send As/on Behalf of a group and Outlook Web App can do this too, however, there are BIG problems with both.
First, it doesn't do it by default when you reply to an external e-mail.
Say for example I host firstname.lastname@example.org in an Office 365 Group, as the Knowledgebase Article nicely describes. A customer sends an e-mail to the group and I reply. By default the reply would come from my personal e-mail address, not the group, and subsequent replies from the customer come to me, bypassing the group. I can change the 'From' address, but again only if I remember and only if I'm using Outlook 2016 or Outlook Web App on the PC. This behaviour is not available in Outlook Web App from my Phone because groups aren't even displayed in the Mobile UI of Outlook Web App. If I do remember to change the from line I must also CC the group, or again, the message will be in my sent items folder bypassing the group. In other words, there's two (2) manual steps which must be taken for every single message in order not to bypass the group.
Next, the Outlook Groups apps on mobile devices don't allow Send As/on Behalf of at all, so this prevents me from replying to customers on the go, particularly with the fact the Outlook Web App doesn't display groups in the mobile UI (mobile web browser set to request Mobile friendly web pages).

Brad, you wrote:

There exists an add-in for Outlook 2016 that automates this process. Every e-mail sent as or on behalf of Office 365 group is BCCed to that group and become visible for all members. Google for BCCtoGroup.

We need a way to force this behavior as an Admin, such that ALL email to External recipients shows only the Group alias, either by way of 'Send As' or 'Send on Behalf of'
I agree. Send as Group/on behalf of Group AND Reply from Group/on behalf of Group should be easy to access.
It can be done now but it is not user friendly, thus users turn away from groups.
