Provide guest members full access to group calendar
Add the ability for Guest members to access the group calendar along with files and conversations. At this time you can only send invites to these members but they can not create events themselves or see the calendar.
Thanks for the feedback! Can you provide more information about how you prefer guest policies to work and if you think allowing guests the same level of permissions as any other member is desirable? Additionally, would you like to control policies for specific guests or just have blanket policy for all guests? Please keep the feedback and votes coming! Thanks!
Individual Guests who have already been added to Group access should have the option of "Can edit" - not just "Can view all details" and less.
Unbelievable that this feature isn't working in 2020....

Guest access is important in a "modern" working life where people want to use the email adress they already have, As I understand a guest user cant add a meeting and such to the calendar in a office 365 group. Its important to get this to work. We are a volunteer org. and many of them use office 365 just a few times in a month. So those users dont want a corporate account. Tehy want to use their otlook.com / gmail and so on. What guestusers need is write, edit, read on the functionality provided, which by the way is very good.

REMARK: The group calendar can be added as webpart to the SharePoint site homepage of the Office 365 group. Then it can be viewed by the guests.
However, guests should also be able to create own events (if needed and permitted).

Our onboarding for Teams is failing due to no calendar access for guests. My users are running straight to Slack.

Please update this item. It is very important that guests have access to calendar.
Group calendar access via a HTML or ics would be great.
They need access to the group inbox as well as other relevant owa features.
Thinking about it was set in September 2017 - but still no further update. This is a tragic waste and needs to be rectified.
The calendar for the group also needs to be surfaced into MS Teams easily.

The lack of guest access to o365 group calendars is tragic...
Please have the developers get a free Google Calendar login and see how they've been making people happy for 10+ years.

yes, agreed, externally shared calendars seem to be a forgotten feature, the ability to EASILY share a calendar outside the org (i.e. like google calendars) would make this tool much more attractive to my users.

For Groups to be a useful Project and Collaboration tool we need to be able to invite externals in and they need to be able to have decent functionality - view the calendar and discussions online as internal staff do being the minimum. This missing functionality is forcing us to look at other tools and putting our staff off using O365 for collaborative work across organisations.
