Filter tasks in Office 365 Planner based on task attributes
Add a feature to filter tasks based on attributes of the tasks, such as color codes, completion status, and date ranges. This could be displayed in a manner similar to Excel pivot-table slicers or SharePoint Content filters. This filter should allow multiple selections.

At first look I was hopeful that planner would be a good solution for our graphics group, but I am starting to lose my confidence in that. The basic functionality is setup more around a once person work flow rather than that for a team. The requests for functionality that I am seeing in this user forum are pretty rudimentary features and found in most all other project management tools. This is disheartening for sure.
Hey MS, if you are still going to reinvent productivity, why not make the core TASKS/TO-DO functionality in Outlook/O365 finally work properly?
1. First off, enable the much needed Outlook Desktop Tasks functionality (e.g. filters, grouping, views) on the web/mobile.
2. Next, make sure that any new Task Management related initiatives (Wunderlist, Planner, GigJam) are properly linked to the core functionality already in use (Outlook Tasks + OneNote).
3. After some 10 years of close to no progress, start improving the usefulness and usability of the Tasks functionality (Tasks in Outlook Desktop + O365 Oulook). Potentially by tightly integrating the aforementioned additional features/services.
4. Support easy-to-use SharePoint, Project, and Dynamics CRM/ERP integration.
