How can we improve the tenant admin features O365?

  1. User to see IM sent to them when off-line

    When a person sends an IM to a contact who is offline, the message is not sent anywhere. When the off-line contact becomes available they don't know a message was sent to them. Regular Skype and other IM programs show messages received while off-line. My users are hesitant to consider Skype for Business because it's missing this feature.

  2. Better Call Reporting for Cloud PBX Phone System Calling

    Since switching to Skype for Business Phone System for my organization I have been needing some comprehensive call reports but I find the data is not available with the current dashboard reporting options. Here are some data points I would need to have better call reporting.

    Total Calls Received
    Total Calls Made
    Call Duration
    Ring Time before call answered
    Total calls not answered
    Total calls placed on hold
    Total Hold time
    Total Calls Transferred
    Transferred to where?

  3. More conferencing policies to be accessed via the SfB admin portal UI.

    Many of my customers have requested the ability for more client conferencing policies to be accessed via the SfB admin portal UI. For example the ability to enable/disable screen sharing rather than using PowerShell.

  4. I need to able to block phone calls based on country prefix in Skype For Business

    I need to able to block phone calls based on country prefix in SFB for a specific response group.
    This would help protect back office agents from malicious calls. For example if you do business with country A, and are harassed by calls from country B, you should be able to block those.

  5. skype for business online 911 call alert email to administrator

    It would be nice and helpful if when someone is using Skype for Business Cloud PBX and calls 911 that an email notification can be sent to an specified email address when a 911 call is made. Our current phone system has that feature and is very helpful as someone can go check on that user while waiting for emergency services to be onsite.

  6. Live Event to "Public" to allow External Encoder in Microsoft Teams and/or Stream

    must enable Feature/Function to allow "External Encoder" when creating a "PUBLIC" LIVE Event. in Microsoft Teams or Microsoft Stream.

  8. Ability to drill into Call Quality Dashboard Poor Quality Calls

    In Call Quality Dashboard you can see a site had a number of poor quality calls in a time period. But there's no way to see exactly WHICH calls went into that graph plot. The bottom line it's important to be able to map poor aggregate data with individual reports of poor quality. And there's no way to do that at present.

  9. Skype for Business tag for status change alerts enabled for all contacts by default

    End user's contacts in Skype for Business are all being erroneously and automatically selected for "tag for status change alerts". There is currently no way to disable this or remove this setting globally. Each user needs to deselect their contacts from the alerts to remediate.

    This command used to push a global deselect, but is no longer supported:
    Set-CsPrivacyConfiguration -Identity Global -AutoInitiateContacts $false

  10. Request to add SRV records hosted on Microsoft Office 365 cloud side

    Since we have the choice to set up personal domain and add DNS records hosted on Microsoft Office 365 cloud side, we request to add all the SRV records hosted on cloud side. But there is no options to do that. Please improve the products and make it possible to verify all the DNS records hosted on Office 365 side but not public DNS host provider side. Thanks.

  11. Skype for Business 2015

    Skype for Business 2015 - Alphabetizing Groups can be done manually. It would be nice if a place existed to do it by a click not drag n drop.

  12. Allow shared mailboxes to apply to Skype for Business

    My IT team has just implemented Skype for Business. We would really like to be able to allow people to send a skype for business message to Helpdesk@ourcompany.domain and have it reach our help desk team as a whole, with the current login they are already using. that way the first available tech can grab the response, video call etc.

  13. Fix issues with simultaneous ring/forwarding settings to ring another user with incoming call

    Simultaneous ring feature within the forwarding options does not work consistently. Often it rings the delegate who has been selected to receive the simultaneous ring, but it does not ring the original user.
    Please fix this feature of Lync, or fix the feature on Skype for Business app. With the latter, the software does not allow you to select the name of a fellow user to simultaneously ring.

    Additionally, when call-forwarding turned off, often the user hears the call ringing but does not see the pop-up window appear to answer the call, then it flashes briefly without enough time to…

  15. Control the number of rings (or the amount of time in seconds) for incoming calls using Skype PSTN services before they go to voicemail.

    Need to be able to extend the amount of time or rings of the incoming Skype PSTN phone call before it goes to voicemail or forwarding. Just not enough time to get to the call sometimes, especially when using Skype app on the cell.

  16. Ability to update Organization Profile including Country/Region

    Inadvertently the engineer who setup the account mis-configured the country/region when setting up and we need to change it. I gather the only option is to migrate to a newly created tenant and there are lot's of challenges associated with it. Instead for genuine cases like us, Microsoft should put in place a process to validate and change the region without need for migration to new tenant hassles. The services and subscription on account are basic/common which are available across all regions.

  17. Get-CsUserActivitiesReport should show users with no activity

    Currently I can see users with a blank LogonDate in the user activity reports on the Admin Center. However when running the PowerShell cmdlet Get-CsUserActivitiesReport these users are removed. The PowerShell cmdlet should show the same content that is in the Admin Center.

  18. Skype and Skype for Business Recipient Group Permissioning

    To be honest, it feels like we I.T. people have just been dealt an interesting problem in the form of everyone now getting Skype and Skype for Business. Skype can be a great means of collaborating with co-workers, customers and potential customers. It can also be used to be completely unproductive by chatting with friends and others outside of business during work hours.

    I.T. should be able to add contacts into an approved group and then Skype and Skype for Business should only have conversations with the members of that group. In fact--given that bandwidth costs money--there should be a…
