Stop/dismiss notifications for Admins
Every time there is some sort of notification in Office 365 Admin (i.e. your subscription expires in 57 days, you cancelled a subscription, etc.), all of the admins get a VERY annoying notification and "ding" noise every time they navigate to a new page in the Portal/SharePoint/etc. It makes it nearly impossible to work. First of all, these notifications are next to useless and some can't even be dismissed (i.e. you cancelled a subscription - who cares??). Second, you should be able to dismiss them easily or just turn off the functionality altogether. This was a bad feature update by Microsoft and has nearly driven all the admins in our office crazy.
Agreed - very very bad

Please fix this, it is extremely irritating to our Admin team which use SharePoint/Office 365 through the day and hear the ding AT LEAST once every 5-10 minutes.
Yes, please - and please immediately!!

Total insanity -- I've heard this effing ding 50 times in the past hour. Microsoft please fix this yesterday!

If you are using Chrome you can temporarily disable sound by enabling a mute button I the tab
1. Go to chrome://flags in a new tab
2. Search for the ‘Enable tab audio muting UI control’ flag
3. Hit the ‘Enable’ link
4. Relaunch Chrome when prompted (on Chrome OS a full restart is required¹)
You've gotta be kidding me - There is no way to shut this off? WHERE ARE YOU MICROSOFT??

Admin alerts are driving me crazy, If the alert would be given only once per session I wouldn't mind receiving those alerts at all. But the alerts are popping up every time you switch a service, for example, from SharePoint to Teams, or from Outlook to OneDrive, or if I reload the page the same notification and sound pops up! I couldn't find any way to disable those alerts. I understand the importance of the notification but do not drive us crazy. Maybe it can only appear on Admin Center but not in every O365 web app, or just get the chance to turn off that noisy sound.

I know that the subscription was canceled. I was told I had to cancel it because the plan we were on was being eliminated.
When I emailed and called for help in early October I was told that I would have to put up with the notifications for 90 days. Then on October 12 I was told over the phone that since I called to confirm the cancellation, I would only have to put up with it for two more weeks (I didn't really have a choice - we had to cancel the service that Microsoft was no longer providing after weeks of prompting us to chose another service).
Now, on December 2, I am still having the problem that everyone else here is having. Every time I open, refresh or in some way interact with a browser window that has an Office 365 feature open, I hear a ding and I have to close the notification. I got help in removing the other Global admins from the subscription, hopefully only temporarily, so I'm the only one bothered by the ding, ding, ding, ding, ding *you canceled the subscription that we made you cancel* notification.
I'm not sure if my comment will make a difference since this has been going on for over a year, but I'm willing to give it a shot.

Does anyone read these requests and comments? The original post was made over a year ago and still this is an ongoing problem. Can you not just add a notifications panel to the admin center home page and stop this infernal message on every page refresh? I cannot use any SharePoint pages without getting this constant annoyance.
Crazy this is taking MS so long to fix. One notification per session would be fine. But to have to deal with this on every page reload is absolutely unacceptable. Ding...ding...ding...ding...Apple...Linux...Open Office..LibreOffice...get the point MS...please fix asap.
First let me say I'm extremely happy "user voice" is outside the realms of my admin account. I can't take the dinging anymore.
This is crazy. Just spent an hour with support trying to figure this one out. PLEASE fix this MS! I'd use all 10 of my votes on this if I could.

I can't take it anymore! I just moved us over to o365 from G Suite and I keep getting this notification to install office on my computer. It dings on every single page. I have installed office (for Mac 2016) and it didn't go away. I uninstalled and reinstalled. That didn't fix it.
This is insane. I've spent 4 hours trying to find out how to get rid of this idiotic notification.

This is extremely annoying and judging by the responses here, I am not alone.
Please address this ASAP.

Those dings come in EVERY PAGE LOAD. WHY? Why does every single SharePoint page incessantly bring forward admin notifications? Why not just the Admin portal? I can't present anything without my navigation look like a horrendous mess.

This is very, no let me rephrase that, extremely annoying. I have been informed today, that I will have to put up with the notification flashes for at least another three weeks, before it automatically stops itself!
Come on Microsoft, it's a school boy error that needs resolving - quickly.
This is very very very very annoying. I can't get rid of these notifications any way and it blings every time go to any page in O365 cloud. Some Sharepoint wiki page, list library, mail, calendar, admin, to literally any I go I every time get that bling and it is driving me crazy!! Even if I disable admin features from the account, I still get the bling bling bling bling bling bling bling bling bling bling bling bling bling...
Doens't the dev team use O365 cloud them selves????
Phil Merrick commented
Disable it once the message has been read please! This is really frustrating especially as the subscription was changed automatically from Small Business Premium to Business Premium without notification from yourselves.
Disable it or give the option to disable it ourselves. This is a mockery.
Stop/dismiss notifications for Admins!!!!!!!
Ok - found a fix if you are using chrome ... should work for now .
Hello Everyone - Solution Found - if you are using Chrome.
Get HTTP Request blocker.
Add this pattern :
Stops the dings for now.
If anyone is interested I have a pattern to remove the popup also - but this will kill all notifications ... probably not great.
Driving me nuts badly ... I am swearing at it to shut the f up constantly, my colleagues think I am going insane, I think they actually may be correct .... I cannot take much more of this, honestly it is the most annoying thing in the world ever, full stop. I wish the manager who approved this and the programmer who developed are savaged by wild animals - you people will not go to heaven.
