Use of domainname instead of onmicrosoft.com for O365 Group adresses
New made groups have @ourdomain.onmicrosoft.com domainnames, is it possible to default to @ourdomain.xxx?
I know this can be done for individual addresses using PowerShell, but it would be great to have this as a default setting in admin.
Our organization has a lot of departments with the need to have a groupmail address for cliënts at the outside, the onmicrosoft address doesn't look very professional...

I also have this issue and placed a ticket with Microsoft to confirm it was not something I was doing wrong. For me, it was limited to creating Dynamic Distribution Groups.
There is no option to select a domain for the group's email address and it defaults to @domain.onmicrosoft.com instead of using our selected default domain listed in the Company Profile.
I don't trust most of my users enough to let them use Power-Shell to create a Dynamic Distribution Group, so I have to manually go back and fix every group that is setup. -

That's not true for O365 groups Ben Hooper. Only admins can change the address to your own domainname.

I believe distribution groups automatically use the default domain defined at https://portal.office.com/admin/default.aspx#@/CompanyManagement/CompanyProfile.aspx. Ours works fine.
