Allow EOL Default Retention Policy to Archive only emails
As a business, we want all of our users to have their emails Archives automatically as otherwise the local OST file would become too big. Therefor we apply a 6 months policy rules by default on all mailboxes.
The problem is that the Calendars, Tasks and Notes are also being applied this policy. Tasks for instance can be on-going for years but they are being archived even though they weren't completed.
We cannot apply a no archive rules while asking our users to manually apply each folder one by one an archiving rule; as everyone in the IT business would know that it wouldn't get done. That is not to say that some user's have over 200 subfolders.
We can manually create a personal tag where it would not archive selected "folder" which we can apply on the Notes. Although Calendars and Tasks do not get the feature to add a personal tag.
In the end, it would be much easier if this could be a settings that we could choose as the default retention policy, although unlocking the Calendar and Task to have their own personal policy is a viable option. Furthermore it would be even better to have both possibilities.
