Option to disable "Popular Around Me" in OneDrive
In OneDrive (on the web) --> Shared, there is a new section at the top of the page labeled "Popular Around Me".
OneDrive admins should be able to disable this feature at the tenant level or per user or group.
It currently cannot be disabled.

This has just impacted my workplace as well, please can a way to turn this off for the whole organisation be added.
Has there been any updates on this feature? This is a major security risk.
Give me a disable option this is a security risk for my department!!!

Please disable this feature.

My clients are considering a rollback due to not being able to turn this feature off due to Security concerns about seeing what other staff are working on. It needs to have an option to disable for a tenant.
it would be nice to be able to disable "Popular around me"

This is a real problem! OneDrive admins should be able to disable this feature at the tenant level or per user or group
This feature is a huge security concern. We absolutely need to be able to turn this off IMMEDIATELY! Per MS: "When someone creates a file that is “shared” rather than “private”, anyone in their network who contacts them via email (and maybe other forms of communication) can access any of the shared files to which the person they emailed has access to."
when you use the backup option in ODFB - all users will see your files !!!

This new feature takes up too much room, I would not use this feature to collaborate. I don't really care to see what every colleague is working on currently - it is a distraction. Please remove this feature. MS was actually able to remove it from my view once this year, I think back in June/July 2019, but now claim it can't be done hmmm - not impressed. I didn't know I was ticked to be a tester, which is how it got on my system in the first place - I have removed myself from that.
Für mich eine riesige Sicherheitslücke in OneDrive! Sowas dürfte nicht vorkommen!
USERS should be able to disable it. What a waste of screen space
