Office365 - Multiple Domains - Shared mailboxes with common start (ie sales@).
When you have a single office365 installation that has multiple domains, it is not possible to create the same prefix of an email (ie before the @ sign) for shared mail boxes on the different domains.
For example, if I want to have sales@ on Domain1.com, Domain2.com and Domain3.com, I could successfully create sales@Domain1.com but when I try to create sales@Domain2.com I get an error about the alias already being used.
This has been touched on a number of sites, here is one:
There is a work around at the end, however this should not be required. Why is the system trying to do this. It seems to be trying to create the sales@ for the default domain each time, rather than for the specific domain you want.
This needs to be fixed
