Improve matching when adding user to distribution list
If a user happens to have upper case in their email address, they don't appear when you try to add them to a distribution list using the lower case equivalent:
In this case, the user is called "Kimberley Smith" and her email is "Kimberley.Smith@mydomain.com"
If you search on "Kim" then the user is found: https://i.imgur.com/DLrWE3K.png
However, another user is called "Vicky Smith" with email firstname.lastname@example.org and you can find her either using lowercase or uppercase:
This is a little confusing and inconsistent. So a small feature request to match "Kim" or "kim" against the email address would fix this. A quick "tolower()" is needed somewhere.
Just spent 15 mins with support tracking this one down.
The workarounds are:
- Enter "Kim"
- Edit the user and add the distribution list
- Edit the user's record to change email to lowercase
The later is a bit harder as you're have to change the logon name to something like email@example.com first and then back as you can't edit an email address.

PS. I've added under Exchange admin as there is no category for Office 365 admin??
