Usage reports should draw information directly from the user interface immediately--why does it take 48 hours for data in the same interface to travel to a usage report?

My Usage Report has not update since Sunday (2 days ago). I'm in the Middle of a OneDrive migration project and use the OneDrive Usage report every morning to figure out who has and who has not setup their OneDrive. The person I talked to at Microsoft has confirmed they have the same issue, so it is bigger than just myself. I need this fixed ASAP to finish the project. If it cannot be fixed today, I need a work around to pull the same data in that report for every user I have.
