Allow default time zone in the office 365 groups be the local time zone of the tenant
When a Teams is created, the default time zone is UTC -8 h Pacific zone. This causes users in other time zones to see their documents uploaded to the Sharepoint associated with incorrect timestamps. The time zone with which the group of offfice365 is created should be the same as that of the user.

Can't the default just be set to where the Data Centre of the tenancy resides in?

Bitte die Zeitzone Global für die gesamte Organisation einstellen.
My 365 account is set to central standard time. Created a group and an appointment. The appointment appeared on other's calendars in central standard time, as expected. However, a remainder went out to everyone suggesting they add to calendar and the reminder appeared in pacific time zone.
Even more: when I added a new member to the group, she received an email from the O365 group, prompting her to add the calendar appointments for the group (displayed at Pacific time, which is not local time). She knew the time was incorrect, and called me to confirm the time. This is how I learned the appointments are in Pacific time. I called Microsoft to see how to change the timezone for the group, and was told it cannot be set -- not even via powershell.
Please set the default time zone for Office 365 groups to the local time of the tenant - or the timezone of the person who created the appointment. OR, you could prompt for timezone when I add the appointment.
