Change Tenant default language
There is no way to choose the language when you create an Office 365 Group.
When you create an Office 365 Group, it created a Team Site, the Team site language is heritated from the Tenant language at creation.
But if you create a Team site from SP Online, you can choose the langage

+1 - but the main conversation on this is here: https://office365.uservoice.com/forums/273493-office-365-admin/suggestions/34841875-change-default-language-in-sharepoint-onedrive
YES, this is really annoying in office 365 for school. Each year for their first experience with office, students find office 365 quite complex to use, with those stupid questions... Also as the account are coming from our AD domain thru azure AD connect, the default setting should be used in this situation too...
Same request for default time zone
this is really crucial - but it does not work
we changed the tenant language and still email notification are send out in german -
we were waiting now 1 week after changing the language and still all new sites appear in german as default language ... how can this be resolved ?
we are truly not the only company changing to a more international environment
cheers - JK

Any update? We need to be able to select path (/teams) and default language. Timezone also needs to be set but this can be done with a script afterward.
