Last use of Visio/Project
Its should be great to have the info "last used" for Visio 365 and Project to manage precisely how many licenses we effectively need.
Its too easy to buy a new license each time a user need one.
We do not use exchange
License management is a hard job and useful info like this can make life easier
Often, people ask for Visio or Project. They keep the software for "life" even if not used anymore.
This is my job to check if a software is used or not and revoke the license if needed. I'm sure the "last use" info is known from you because, when Visio/Project is launch a license check is initiated
Again This piece of infos will greatly save me a lot of time.

Is this feature available? If it is, I can't find any documentation.

Is this feature available yet?
Also a client is asking me if this could be done...
yeah we have this available to us for Power BI, Skype, Exchange, etc... Why not Visio and Project Online? These have serious financial implications. We can no longer just rely on executable usage on a workstation. Not only because these are user-based licenses now, and you can't simply remove an install to be more license-compliant, but if you use the logic of an executable not being used and you remove the user-based license, you could be affecting the user on a different machine that HAS used the executable. OR the user could simply not using any executables anywhere and just accessing these services directly from the browser or mobile device.
There simply seems to be an oversight on this.

Being able to see if applications downloaded and licenced in Office365 are being used would be highly useful. We have a large number of MS Project and MS Visio licences, files are saved into various places so there is no way to tell from the portal.
Can this functionality be introduced?

User based licensing only makes sense if reporting on software/license usage (software metering) is possible
This could be done if you stored all of your Visio and Project files in O365. If Microsoft added Project and Visio to the Telemetry dashboard it could also be viewed. Most perferablly would be a report in O365 which could be generated from Licensing check in audits.
