Please Provide older versions of AAD Connect on the download page.
I ran into an issue where I had two different clients moving to Office 365 in one way or another. One is moving email the other is just using synced passwords to log into O365 to download updated copies of Office. Anyways I used the latest version of AAD Connect. 1.1.561.0 on both servers.One being a brand new Server 2016 box and the other being a Server 2012 R2. On both I received the same error stating the sync services could not be started but didn't really provide much info other then that. I did some googling and and found a similar issue earlier on in AAD Connects software history. I believe it was version 1.1.281.0 or 188.8.131.52 was basically causing the same error for people. The fix at the time was to just use an older version of AAD Connect and that would resolve it. So following that since i had nothing else. I reached out to MS and requested an older version. Apparently those are not available. I worked with MS who requested logs and all sorts of info for almost a week. I then asked a co worker if he had an older version to just try it out. He did I then was able to install without issue using version 1.1.443.0. So with all that being said I think it would be cool if MS did some more testing before pushing out new software and at the very least if your not you could at least throw us a bone and leave the older 3 - 5 copies somewhere.
