setting regional timezones for onedrive users
It seems that when a user is created in 365, their OneDrive regional and Locale setting is defaulted to US. We would like to be able to change the default for the tenant at the 365 admin level.
This is causing all sorts of issues for us, please provide a fix

I agree as well. It's sick to instruct every user in 8000 organization to change regional settings by thierselfes. It's needed to be possible, that admin can change it autoamticaly to all users by OneDrive global settings.

Yes, Definitely agree that setting onedrive timezones on a tenancy level would help

We are currently rolling out OneDrive to 12000 users and having to issue comms to everyone to update their settings individually is a not a productive use of their time, please address this.

Please. We need to manage locales for our office locations in at least seven different countries.

This would be really nice to fix as it causes conflicts with documents uploaded in UK format.
Dylan, Any chance i could take a look at that script? :P
PG, any sight on a fix for this? Two years later and we're still having this issue. Seems absurd?
We use a Powershell script that runs nightly to connect to new users OneDrives and set the region/locale appropriately. It would be nice to have this configured via some default values (set in the OneDrive admin center?)

This is strongly needed. For over 2000 users, it's hard to announce how-to, mostly unacceptable operation by them. MS says OD is under user control but that's just a MS matter.
I agree with this. I've just had a ticket logged with MS and was told that a users' locale settings are tkaen from their personal OneDrive account meaning that all users need to change this themselves and then wait 24 hours for the change to take effect. We are based in the UK so why is it set to a default of US? We should be able to change this setting globally.

I agree. It would be nice when provisioning a user, to be able to set their time zone for them. Currently all OneDrive users provisioned in Pacific time zone, and now with hiding the Site Settings, it will make it harder for the user to change their settings. It would be nice if it inherited from Outlook on the web setting.
