Add history and version control to DNS Administration for custom DNS records when DNS hosted by O365
Currently custom records can be added to domains hosted by Office 365 DNS servers via the admin interface.
We'd request adding a feature that allows for custom records and changes to be tracked for version control, so that you can see who have made what changes and when. Currently custom records are easily lost / reset which can cause major problems for client websites for example should these records be lost. At the very least, we'd suggest a prompt to be displayed as a warning should any action potentially reset the DNS records to default - for example: 'warning: this action will remove any custom records set on the domain'.
This would be very good. Plus the option to integrate with cloudflare, to eliminate DDoS on our Web Hosting

I second that - we need access to granular audit logs detailing who took what actions. We have for the second time lost all custom DNS settings on a client tenant causing all their websites to be inaccessible and we can't give them any explanation as to why this happened. I've reported this to Microsoft and they say it can only happen if a person removes them, but I've assured them that no-one touched the domains.
@BenFitzgerald's idea along with the following one would improve control over domains https://office365.uservoice.com/forums/273493-office-365-admin/suggestions/14887494-domain-rights-delegate-to-specific-person
