Reporting and/or monitoring for OneDrive client sync status.
A report or monitor that shows OneDrive sync client health status would give support teams the tools to remediate file-sync issues before they turn into data-loss issues.
As it stands, the only visibility we have into OneDrive sync health (Groove or Next-Gen client) is to ask users to self-report when they see a sync error. This is difficult to do in a small environment, and near impossible in large environments.
Please add this functionality, this is critical at enterprise scale to monitor sync clients are free of errors. Not having this functionality could introduce the risk of data loss for our customers.

This would be helpful for the user to be able to see in their OneDrive in Office 365, especially if their PC has crashed. Many users have lost data because they thought their data was being sync'd and it was not.
Any other thoughts on this feature request? Clients would normally see a popup notification so that has to be logged somewhere.

This is becoming more and more important as we roll out OneDrive for Business to our users. We are finding a number of users having sync errors (mainly due to incompatible filenames), the errors are easy enough to fix, but we don't know that they exist unless we are sat at the client machine. Please add some sort of logging or at least visibility that sync errors exist for a specific client. Suggestions below:
1) A basic text log on the local machine that admins could remotely access.
2) Windows event logging of sync failures - the most basic method but would be all we need initially.
2) Log to the Office365 Unified Log (https://protection.office.com/#/unifiedauditlog).
3) Add a report to (https://portal.office.com/AdminPortal/Home?switchtomoderndefault=true#/reportsUsage) along the lines of 'Users with sync errors'.
