Allow a federated domain to be set as default domain
Allow a federated domain to be set as default domain and update existing users (sync-ed from AD). Forcing the .onmicrosoft.com for user login causes admin headaches in mid to larger domains using an internal non-routable domain.

Special Needs School in need of help...
We have had an existing 365 tenancy with a .co.uk domain for years. We used a separate (non 365) .com domain for our school emails. We recently migrated our .com to Office 365 with plans to make it the default domain once the migration was completed.
Our reseller has just informed me that because we are federated with them, we can't make it the default domain.
The net result is that when our users create any groups, they have a .co.uk email address when everyone in the school is on .com addresses. You can imagine the confusion this will cause.
I also have concerns about the impact this will have on SharePoint when we start to venture into it?
Please give us the option to make a federated domain the default :-(
