Allow timezone change for message trace
Currently message trace timezone is set to UTC 0. This is really annoying. We should be able to change the timezone for this. There are posts on the forums going back to 2012 requesting this feature... please implement it.

It appears that this issue has been fixed in the NEW message trace functionality (https://protection.office.com/messagetrace). When you use the old message trace, it still shows in UTC, but when you use the new message trace, it shows results in your default time zone.

Does Microsoft actually respond to these post because this is something that needs to be addressed and a change should be made to allow for customization of the time zone. Will this be a feature update in the future?

Who at Microsoft thought this would be a good idea for the global population using Exchange? Why do we have to work so hard to change the time.
Microsoft: Hint....NO ONE USES UTC...except you...READ EVERYONE'S RESPONSE BELOW.
Thanks for listening.

the Exchange Admin Message Trace config page let's you set your timezone.....you can say I want from X time to Y time in that time zone....but then the results pop up in UTC time. What a pain! I always have to convert to figure out what's going on. It's enough issue that I have to figure out a problem, with out y'all forcing me to calculate time zone differences just to figure out what happened to my mail!

Can you please give us the capability to adjust time zone on the message trace function. It is very confusing when looking up emails.

Please fix this MS! It makes it very difficult to troubleshoot! As Tee mentions, it is fixed in some places, please fix it in the rest (Starting with the message trace in Exchange for example?)

Seems Microsoft have fixed this in the new Office 365 Security & Compliance centre. The Message Trace function shows in the searched time zone.

It's been one year since I last posted about this and it's not fixed. Microsoft, you need to get your act together! People are crying out for this and you're ignoring it!!!

I have some problems validating an Exchange external connector and this "phased out" message trace make it more difficult. The same problem persists in both message trace from EAC and "Office 365 Security & Compliance" from where I need an "extended report" that cannot be matched with the other party server report. :-(

This is very bad to hear that Microsoft has not been resolved so long.

The whole point of looking a message trace is to debug the sending of mail over a timeline between the server / client. Put a 'convert to timezone' feature in there which maps over-the timezone column with an adjustment value plz!
