disable suggested groups
Allow users to disable or unselect the "suggested groups" item in Outlook 365
Agreed! Totally useless if the admin can't prevent standard users from creating a group called "IT Support" in an office enviroment

+1 here! Need to add this feature ASAP. Thanks MS.
This is so important for privacy concerns. If there is no AI, manageable policies to dictate how these suggestions are suggested, This feature can potentially cause more problems than any solution that it can resolve.
Students can see groups connected to private planners and teams set up for staff. Explaining why they can't have access AND connecting to them to tell them no is not good. Please find a way to turn this off as an option.
There needs to be a way to turn off this suggested groups feature. It's completely ridiculous in a school environment with student emails, and even in a business environment I can't see how it would be a good idea. It's not a social network so stop trying to suggest more ways for people to waste time.
This is is causing us a headache as well, some groups are of a sensitive nature and even the name being public can cause concern.
Students can see the Office 365 Groups we have created for staff in their suggested groups pane.
All the Groups are set to "Private - Only members can see group content" but i think Microsoft should also hide it from Public view.

Agreed. As an education platform; students should not be able to see members of our faculty and staff groups.

Why is it that Microsoft likes to add to the clutter of the mailbox by adding another way to view the same exact information? Let us turn that **** off! I don't need Sync issues unless I have one, I don't need RSS unless I have one, and I don't need to see my group's emails TWICE.
This is one of many reasons why I keep going back to OS X mail.

Agreed. We need the student groups to be separate from the staff/teacher groups.
agreed, I want to remove the whole groups section from outlook desktop version, and while you are at it, get rid of Clutter, RSS feeds, search folders, and the favorites section
