Just start marking them as spam in the alternate email account. Maybe they'll get the message.

Please fix this. Not only is it very annoying, it surely isn't best practice and introduces security concerns.

This is ridiculous. Try being on call, and therefore not being able to put your phone on silent/do not disturb, and then get constantly spammed with billing emails all through the month.
One particular Azure AD subscription email was sent to me FOR EACH USER IN OUR ORGANIZATION!
I have NOTHING to do with billing, but need to be Global Administrator to do my job.
Please do something about this!

This was reported over 4 years ago, please add some control for GDPR compliance!
- Not all GA should receive billing notices, it should be an optional!
- Alt Email should not receive billing notices unless opt'n. -

This needs to happen. I also should be able to choose which Global Admins receive billing notices.

I am going to jump on this one too. Every admin in my organisation, like everybody else on this thread is sick of this.
We have billing admins and technical admins - it goes to everybody. I am not interested in receiving these to my personal email. Whoever decided on this doesn't have a life outside of work.
Great I can filter these to another folder or junk, but I shouldn't have to.

The alternate email is only for account recovery when locked out of your account. there is no reason to send sensitive billing information to that address.

One of the dragons force a U2 album upon your device.
The other one will send you 7 invoice notifications a week (!!) with no opt-out just because I have an administrator role. I'm not even responsible for invoice handling.
Make it stop - make it easier to appreciate your products. -

I would love to hear the reasoning for this feature and why it was decided that it couldn't be changed.

+1 here - this is awful

I agree this needs to be optional, or at worst, only send to the alternate address if the account becomes past due.

Why is this not done yet? I do not need work stuff in my personal email.

Please fix this, it is both frustrating and inappropriate.

The only email I want at my alternative email address is account recovery emails. Nothing else. zero, nada, zilch.
Please stop sending these emails

Please stop sending billing to my alternate email addresses, this is superfluous to need, and just annoys the administration of the service.

Can't believe this hasn't been resolved yet. So the alternative is to not use an external account to recover the password then? Silly.

One should not have to bills sent to both primary and alternative email addresses. A security alt email should not be a point of contact for billing. Please fix this.
