  1. Ability to BLOCK self-service purchase capabilities for Power Platform products

Message centre update refers : MC193609 Self-service purchase capabilities for Power Platform products (Power BI, PowerApps, and Flow) will be available for commercial cloud customers starting 11/19.

We need the ability to block this on tenant level with immediate effect. The platform will become ungovernable in a very short period and cause massive governance issues.

  2. Support for Dynamic '+' Email Aliases in Office 365

    Hello,

I am familiar with using a plus sign following my email alias to create dynamic unique addresses for a Gmail account. e.g. test.email+signedup@gmail.com will arrive at my Gmail mailbox, where I can then apply rules based on the 'To:' address. See this page for details: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/22370

I tested this on my Office 365 address and it works, but only for email addresses in my parent domain. Using the aliases on subdomain addresses results in a 'recipient not found' NDR.

Does anyone out there have more information on this feature or if it even is one for 365 / Exchange?

I’m pleased to announce that the plus addressing feature is now available for Exchange Admins to enable. This can be done through Powershell using the following command:
    Set-OrganizationConfig -AllowPlusAddressInRecipients $true

For instructions on how to use Powershell, you can find out more here:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/exchange/exchange-online-powershell-v2?view=exchange-ps

The setting may not instantly take effect so please expect a delay before you can start using plus addresses.

    Regards,
    The Exchange Transport team

  3. Enable email notification of Office 365 Health Service Incidents and Advisories

Enable option to subscribe by email Office 365 Health Service Incidents and Advisories.

Global Admin or any Distribution list be able to receive the service health dashboard summary or any major service outage alerts over the email.
There has to be an option to subscribe to the alerts (old school SharePoint Lists alerts mechanism) providing an email. This functionality should be only permissible to Global Admin and can add up to 5 email addresses.
This will reduce the over head of an Admin to keep going back to dashboard to be able to monitor health, Or if this needs to…

We released the ability to receive email notifications this past quarter and should be available to all general customers. The link to the documentation will be coming soon.

To opt into email notifications please click on the preferences button on the Service Health dashboard page and select which services you want to be notified via email when there is an incident or advisory.
    Thanks,

  4. Add an option to turn OFF keeping a copy of SMTP relayed messages in sent items.

Recently the uservoice "SMTP Relay via Office 365 - Keep copy in Sent Items" was apparently implemented. As far as I can tell there is no way to turn this off. Please give those of us who don't want this an option to turn if off.

We have completed adding the setting to turn off saving messages in the Sent Items folder for the SMTP AUTH client submission protocol.

You can edit the setting for a given mailbox by using PowerShell and the following command:

    Set-Mailbox -Identity bob@contoso.com -MessageCopyForSMTPClientSubmissionEnabled $false
  5. Save SMTP-based emails sent via an Office 365 account in Outlook's Sent Items folder!

We followed Microsoft's instructions exactly for sending SMTP-based emails from a software application via a paid Microsoft Office 365 email account. However, the SMTP-based emails do not appear in and/or sync with Microsoft Office 365's Sent Items folder! Thus, we cannot see these SMTP-based emails via Microsoft Outlook 2016's desktop client or Outlook.com! Please integrate SMTP-originated emails into Microsoft Outlook's Sent Items folder! Thank you!

  6. "Read rights" only in the Message center.

In the Office Admin Center, we would like to have a delegation option to give certain people (in the domain) “read rights” to see the status in the “Service Status” and “Message Centre”. For instance, an Office 365 adoption consultant, who isn’t an administrator off the Users, Sharepoint, Exchange etc.

  7. Provide Platform Specific Administrative Roles without granting Global Admin

There doesn't seem to be a way to manage the services at a granular level for SharePoint, Lync, or Exchange without granting global admin. With larger organizations this can be challenging when responsibilities are divided. I would like to suggest that there be individual roles for SharePoint, Lync and Exchange

  8. Enable Dynamic (Plus) Email Addresses for Distribution Lists

The recent plus addressing feature (https://office365.uservoice.com/forums/273493-office-365-admin/suggestions/18612754-support-for-dynamic-email-aliases-in-office-365) appears to only work for mailboxes, not distribution lists.  The primary reason we wanted this feature was to enable teams without permission to create distribution lists or modify the alternate email addresses on their distribution lists to effectively create unique addresses on the fly.  There are a number of services which require unique email addresses be used to create each account and this would allow us to easily tie those accounts back to a single existing DL without engaging our Enterprise Services team each time to add a new address. Please allow…

We have completed work to expand plus addressing support to include DLs and Groups. This will roll out to the service over the next month or so, so please expect this functionality to saturate in the service in December.
