  1. Enable and disable Clutter from Admin Panel

    We need to be able to administratively enable and disable Clutter and Clutter notifications.

    Thank you for your responses. We appreciate that you’ve taken the time to provide us with feedback to help make our products better.

    We’re actively working on significant improvements to the end user experience with the feature across Outlook clients. This includes improvements to the UX, the classification algorithms, and controls.

    Today, admins have a Power-Shell cmdlet that allows them to control the Clutter feature on a per mailbox level. Details of this can be found here: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/mt586787%28v=exchg.160%29.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

    Our decision to provide the cmdlet based control for Clutter was based on early feedback we received on the Clutter feature.

    We will continue to improve the admin controls based on the continued feedback. Considering the responses on this forum, it would be helpful to better understand the gaps in the current admin control story. Do you believe the gap here is in not having a tenant level control or not having…

  2. Increase 30 messages per minute limit

    The 30 message per minute limit causes problems for software that needs to send out to many users. Now that we've migrated to Exchange Online our payroll system can no longer send out payslips because of this feature. Very limiting and a very low limit. It should at least be able to be configured to allow accounts to be exempted or have different limits.

    The limit you are talking about protects against large volume senders overwhelming the shared resources of our service and ensures emails are not all sent out at once for automated systems. Can you please tell us more about the problems this causes to the software that queueing and retries are not able to handle?

  3. Synchronizing of Custom Active Directory Attributes to Custom User Profile Properties in SharePoint Online

    I have a custom solution for this that seems viable (see below), However my client would like to be able to do this OOTB if at all possible. Making this possible through a future iteration of DirSync, or its successors, AADSS, AAD Connect, or some other tool would be helpful. This way we're not required to enter it more than once.

    Thanks for your feedback! Your idea sounds interesting, but we need more information:

    We are certainly thinking about extensible user schema across Office365 suite, and trying to figure out which attribute mappings make sense. We’d love to know more about the scenario you have – Why did your customer chose to use AD custom attributes over User Profile attributes in SharePoint?

  4. SMTP client submission. (Sent email is stored in the Sent folder of the mailbox.)

    The function recently added to save when sending mail using the smtp client submission in Sent Folder is inconvenient. Messages are saved as many as senders. For example, if there are 1 recipient and 1 CC, Two items are stored in Sent Folder.
    It would be okay to save only one item as we normally do when sending mail.

    This sounds like the application is sending the same message two different times to the two different recipients instead of sending the message once and letting us deliver it to the two recipients.
    Can you please tell us more about the app or device sending the emails?

  5. Option to view pages as specific permissions levels to confirm functionality

    It would be extremely helpful to view web pages as other permission groups see them to confirm function of links and features.

    What is the task you would use this to accomplish with?

    Are you troubleshooting user issues with accessing content?

    Are you setting up sites or authoring content and want to make sure the right people can access them?

  6. Allow use of new top level domains for forwarding

    We cannot forward a user's email to another email address on any of our domains from the admin centre as they end in .academy which Microsoft doesn't recognise as valid. The save changes button never becomes active and we just have the message under the box saying to enter a valid email address. If we put a dot and any two letters on the end the system is suddenly happy and will let us save even though that isn't a valid email making this check utterly pointless. Even more ridiculous is that the user themselves can set up a forward…

  7. DMARC record stopped SMTP relay

    DMARC is very useful to avoid spoof and spam emails, however the SMTP relay is useful also
