Make it possible to change the tenant name in Office365
Iv realized that there is no option to change the tenant name in Office365.
This would be a great tool for businesses that change their name and want to keep their current solution in Office365.
A simple task like changing the tenant name for Office365 would save businesses allot of time.
14,421 votesThe functionality to make it possible to change the name of an O365 tenant, especially with Sharepoint Online in mind, is being planned. There is no ETA at this time though.

Send Office 365 Password Expiry Reminder Email Notification
Office 365 as of right now doesn't have a feature that enables users to get notified if their passwords are on the verge of getting expired. I know there's a notification that appears, but our organization needs the email notifications. If you guys can help us out it would really appreciated.
- Mobile users need an email notification or pop-up.
- Send multiple emails e.g. 2 weeks before expiry and 2 days before

Allow the admin to pin custom tiles to the app launcher for all users in the tenant
With the newly released update it is now easy for an admin to add a custom tile to the My Apps page. However, as an admin you still can't add this custom tile to the app launcher for any user except yourself.
For several companies it would be nice if you gave the admin the ability to add tiles directly to the app launcher for all users. For example when you want to link to the time management tool, public website etc.

Great news! This capability is included in in the recently updated Office 365 Roadmap entry: “Admin App Launcher Customization Tools” which can be found in the “In Development” section.

Delegate permissions for managing MFA
To be able to delegate the permission of administering user account MFA setting like enable/disabled forcing reset of MFA code etc.
Currently the Global Admin permission is needed. It would be able very useful to delegate this to a service desk function without having to provide full admin access to the tenant.
4,315 votesWe have heard the feedback and we’ve added it to our upcoming investments. While we do not have a date for this yet, we hope to be able to provide one soon. Thank you for the continued feedback.

GAL Federation between different O365 tenants
As organisations grow, or have to separate different business areas in different O365 tenants it would be useful to be able to share or federate global address lists between different tenants. The only current choices are:
Create contact objects in tenants which are then disconnected from the original user - this means if the user details change the contact in the other tenant becomes out of sync.
Where domain federation in in place and directory synchronisation services running for each tenant, create on premise AD users as mail enabled users and ensure each directory sync for each tenant looks at…

Allow two 365 accounts to be merged without having to rebuild email accounts, move files etc... just move the domain from one 365 account to another after proper verification -- or even by just calling Microsoft support

View Current Automapping setting
Currently there is no way to view whether Automapping of a mailbox is enabled or disabled in office 365. It would be nice to be able to view this value in either powershell or the GUI.
Additionally it would be nice to be able to turn automapping on or off via the EMC instead of only powershell.

Reporting and/or monitoring for OneDrive client sync status.
A report or monitor that shows OneDrive sync client health status would give support teams the tools to remediate file-sync issues before they turn into data-loss issues.
As it stands, the only visibility we have into OneDrive sync health (Groove or Next-Gen client) is to ask users to self-report when they see a sync error. This is difficult to do in a small environment, and near impossible in large environments.

Tenant-wide time zone setting for SharePoint (at least)
It doesn't make any sense to me to have to set the time zone per Site Collection. For an organization that sits in one time zone, having to change every Site Collection from PST to the local time zone is tedious. If there were a single overarching setting that Site Collections could inherit from, it would make things a lot easier.

Add ability to change country
I created an account for a client of mine. I set it up on my company (registered in Sweden) to be able to fix this smoothly for my customer. When I now want to change ownership to his company (registered in Switzerland) I cannot do that. That is strike one.
Ok, so I was told that I should setup a new account and then you could help me migrate all data to the new account, so I did. When I came back asking for the migration step I get the instructions to do this via exporting to pst-files. I MEAN…

Allow to see private emails in shared mailboxes in outlook (in OWA you can see them)
Short:
On shared mailboxes in office 365 emails that are flagged by the sender as private are hidden. In OWA they are visible.
Long:
Users having full access to the shared mailbox do not see emails sent with a private flag - and they do not get informed about it. The emails are just silently hidden by outlook without any further notice. Quite stupid, for a shared mailbox (e.g. incoming orders!)
We discovered that by coincidence: Our users were concerned because the number of unread emails was increasing - although there were no unread emails visible for them.
If they…

Enable management and reporting of Office ProPlus using Admin portal and/or PowerShell. What version? How many installs? etc
I would like to report installs by user. Similar to Telemetry dashboard with how many installs a user is using vs remaining installs. Machine name (because I have seen duplicates using 2 licenses on 1 machine). Usage. Is the user a heavy Excel user, PowerPoint, Word, etc.

Rename the initial tenant domain
By renaming the incorrect initial tenant domain will save a plenty cost to register new tenant and migrate data. I believe many organizations would like to change the initial domain name such as they've changed the company name. It will be more user-friendly for customer experience.
Thank you

Change default language in Sharepoint (OneDrive)
For an international company, it is important to define the company language (e.g. English) as the default language. Unfortunately, when initializing O365, the language is set according to the location (in our case "German"). This is devastating because all SharePoint pages (including OneDrive) are subsequently created in "German". This should at least be pointed out.
Unfortunately there is no possibility to change the default language afterwards. The workarounds with multi-language support are not satisfactory. Nevertheless, German continues to dominate in many areasPlease point out the importance of the language during the initial setup and give the possibility to select…

Enable and disable Clutter from Admin Panel
We need to be able to administratively enable and disable Clutter and Clutter notifications.
1,823 votesThank you for your responses. We appreciate that you’ve taken the time to provide us with feedback to help make our products better.
We’re actively working on significant improvements to the end user experience with the feature across Outlook clients. This includes improvements to the UX, the classification algorithms, and controls.
Today, admins have a Power-Shell cmdlet that allows them to control the Clutter feature on a per mailbox level. Details of this can be found here: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/mt586787%28v=exchg.160%29.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396
Our decision to provide the cmdlet based control for Clutter was based on early feedback we received on the Clutter feature.
We will continue to improve the admin controls based on the continued feedback. Considering the responses on this forum, it would be helpful to better understand the gaps in the current admin control story. Do you believe the gap here is in not having a tenant level control or not having…

Allow Tenant Admins to Control New Features being Enabled/Disabled by Default
Tenant administrators should have the ability to specify whether or not new features such as Teams, Sway, etc. are enabled by default within their tenants. Just like there's the ability to set a tenant to receive First Release, Admins should be able to specify how changes are introduced to their environment. It's great that there are Powershell commands to turn features on/off but it would be much easier to either set these new features to be off by default, or enable Admins to enable when organizations are ready to absorb those changes. Functionality like Teams is absolutely fantastic, but without…

Ability to limit user logon hours
With the Department of Labor showing interest in how employees are using their smartphones to access corporate resources the ability to limit some of their access may be required. Adding the ability to limit a users logon hours, preferably linked to their Logon Hours in AD (synced to account with DirSync ability) would be ideal to assist with this management.
