  2. Hide shared mailboxes from the Skype contact list

We use shared mailboxes in O365 and have set the Exchange property "Hide from address lists" to false for some of those. However, when we use the "Find someone" box in Skype for Business, these hidden mailboxes still appear in the list. Is there anyway to hide them from Skype?

  3. Allow a federated domain to be set as default domain

Allow a federated domain to be set as default domain and update existing users (sync-ed from AD). Forcing the .onmicrosoft.com for user login causes admin headaches in mid to larger domains using an internal non-routable domain.

  4. Exchange Online Protection (EOP) customers should be emailed when the list of EOP sending IPs changes

When the EOP sending IPs change some inbound emails bounce until the receive connector on our on-premise Exchange is updated to match.
But the only way to know that the EOP sending IPs has changed is to check a TechNet page (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn163581(v=exchg.150).aspx).
This isn't good enough. You know an EOP IP change will affect most of your EOP customers, so you should notify them directly.

  5. Support naked domain redirection

I need to set a redirect for the naked domain (http://mysite.com) directs to a www (http://www.mysite.com).

The site is hosted externally (not Sharepoint), and don't have the option to do the redirect there

This is a compete issue with Google Apps hosted sites

  6. For Get-MessageTrace please increase the -PageSize to more than 5000. Need to run muliple reports to get 1 day of data.

For Get-MessageTrace please increase the -PageSize to more than 5000. Need to run many reports to get 1 day of data for email to one domain. With the reports I need to pay with the time each report to make sure it is under 5000 to get all the data for one day vs 1 report with all data and not being limited by 5000 results for each command ran.

  7. Centralized Update Options

It would be nice to have a centralized update center for the office 365 applications (something like WSUS). We have about 60 machines and all of them needs to download the updates, consuming a lot of the avaiable bandwith.
    Or at least a way to define the accounts, hours or maximum numbers of account per time;

  8. Give the option to be able to restrict certain users to view internal contacts profile photo.

We are a secondary school and all staff display their profile photo on Office365. This means all users including students can see staff photos which is a safeguarding issue. We would like to request the ability to restrict students from being able to view staff profile photos.

  9. Warn admins using PowerShell to also create a Hosted Content Filter Rule if they create a new Hosted Content Filter Policy

Admins should be warned when they create a new Hosted Content Filter Policy (New-HostedContentFilterPolicy) to also create a corresponding Hosted Content Filter Rule (New-HostedContentFilterRule). The GUI does not allow to create a policy without a corresponding rule, so the admins should be warned if they use PowerShell cmdlets.

  10. Create a custom admin role for CRM Online

There are customized roles for EXO, SPO and Skype for Business with O365. Why does the customized role Service admin allow unrestricted access to the admin (Settings) areas used to manage and configure CRM Online?
It seems this 'strategic' solution is nothing more than a security after thought.

  11. Ensure Service Health Dashboard properly identifies affected incidents for tenant

Ensure service health dashboard properly displays incidents that impact a tenant and that the category icon properly changes status (yellow, red) when service is impacted.

  12. Share files from Ondrive with external users WITHOUT outlook.com Account

Please enable to share data just by sending a link as on Dropbox etc, wihtout the obligation to register with an outlook.com adress.

Would make work flow much easier..

  13. Allow the admin to customize the ADR

The 'standard' ADR is horribly uninformative I think. There should be a means provided in a shared server environment to customize and/or create new ADRs that are tailored to the situation.

  14. Allow User Management role to enable Azure MFA for new users. Currently, only Global Admin can enable MFA

Allow Office 365 New role, or change to existing User Management role to enable Azure MFA for new users. Currently, only Global Admin can enable MFA for a user. Support members can license the user including MFA license, but cannot "enable, enforce, or reset MFA settings for a user in O365 Admin portal.

  15. Disable TNEF as standard

As Apple refuses to support TNEF there is a constant issue with sending attachments a.k.a winmail.dat. It utterly ridiculous that Microsoft and Apple won't get together to sort this out.

As you won't, O365 and Exchange in general should default to not using TNEF as standard. Then it won't be an issue for 99.99999% of tenants. Those who actually care about this can go in and enable it if desired instead of requiring the majority to go in and disable it.

  16. Send Office 365 Password Expiry Reminder Email Notification

Office 365 as of right now doesn't have a feature that enables users to get notified if their passwords are on the verge of getting expired. I know there's a notification that appears, but our organization needs the email notifications. If you guys can help us out it would really appreciated.

    • Mobile users need an email notification or pop-up.

    • Send multiple emails e.g. 2 weeks before expiry and 2 days before

  17. Deleted mailboxes fail to appear in a soft-deleted state

We operate an Exchange hybrid environment using Azure AD Connect and ADFS with mailboxes on Exchange Online. We recently had a situation where we wanted to delete an old user account and its Exchange Online mailbox, and then move the contents of the old user’s mailbox to a new user. This scenario is discussed in the article “A better way to recover a mailbox” (https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/exchange/2015/01/13/a-better-way-to-recover-a-mailbox/).
To delete the old account, we executed Remove-Mailbox in an Exchange Online PowerShell session and separately deleted the on-premises AD account. We found that the mailbox was not put into a soft-deleted state…

  18. We need a way to know which sensitive word is blocking a mail

If we have active in our spam policy the setting about "sensitive words" the mails with those included are sent to spam. And that is fine if we could tell the sender or recipient to refrain using that word in the future. But those words are never disclosed so we can't solve the problem. In fact, we have to guess sometimes which word is the problematic one. There are problems with words that have very different meanings in different languages and words that are sensitive only in some context.

We exchange administrators need to know which word is causing us…

  19. Exchange Online Advanced Threat Protection whitelist

When sending email from one internal user to another on the same domain sometimes Exchange Online Advanced Threat Protection is slowing down mail delivery. it would be good to have allow list just like in spam filter protection to bypass scanning for emails coming from selected users or domains.
