  1. Global Admin and Billing Admin allowed to purchase services with one credit card

One of my new Office 365 tenant does not allow Global Admins nor Billing Admins to make purchases unless a new credit card is attached using their account. This apparently is to enhance security but contrary to that, re-entering the same credit card for multiple user accounts means revealing information to many people. It would be better to have 1 main credit card linked and all Global and Billing admins allowed to purchase using that.

  2. Tenant Level 3rd Party App Control

It would be nice if we could utilize a tenant-wide local app catalog. Since 3rd party apps can be added in several places like Outlook, Groups, SharePoint, and Teams, it would be nice to allow end-users to browse apps from all of those locations but require them to request an app so the admin can review their request and determine if the functionality they are looking for already exists in the M365 suite or if what they are looking for is truly unique and should be installed/purchased for the tenant. That control should be within the Admin's control so we…

  3. Show the list of Bookings mailboxes in Microsoft 365 admin center

I would like to see the list of Microsoft Bookings mailboxes in M365 admin center. Also, it would be great to delete the mailboxes at once.

  4. Add sender address in disclaimer

Phishing emails are on the rise where Sender's name is used to lure recipients into trusting spam. We would like to prepend a disclaimer for emails originating outside the domain and add the sender's real email address to it. We have programmed the disclaimer but have been told by Microsoft tech. support that it is by design that sender's info is not available to be added to disclaimers.

  5. Option to Enable auto hide Email Address from GAL when the Account is disabled in AD

Curtently we are doing this manually with powershell. However if there is an option to automate this task it would be very easy. Once a user account is disabled there is a need to hide the user email address in GAL. It would be a useful feature for all if the option is available.
The command to do this manually is below. Thankyou

    Get-User -RecipientTypeDetails UserMailbox | where {$_.UseraccountControl -like “accountdisabled”} | set-mailbox -HiddenFromAddressListsEnabled $true

  8. Create admin role(s) and an Admin dashboard / admin centre for Communications/Intranet/Community managers

We have teams of people who are not in IT but are accountable for content, community, adoption etc and drive value from the M365 toolset. Providing them a specialised admin role and set of dashboards that allows them to see - for example: broader metrics on top sites/teams/pages/yammer posts. Identify influencers in the org. Content governance tools (remove duplication, optimise search, review outdated info). Communication compliance tools. Ability to edit /hide comments in Yammer. Ability to see all (incl private) groups. More marketing driven metrics such as email attribution.

  9. I'd like a function that allows only attachments with specific extensions to be sent by e-mail.

To allow only the attachments with specific extensions to be sent by e-mail, the extensions of other files must be registered in the forbidden list, which takes a lot of work.
Therefore, we would like to request a function that allows only attachments with a specific extension to be sent by email.

  11. Publish communication on on-going fix deployment for targeted tenant in Service Health Dashboard

I would like you to share information on bugs which is already addressed by fix especially when it impacts my tenant. That kind of information isn’t disclosed in M365 Service Health Dashboard, but I would like to know how it’s progressing when the issue potentially affects my tenant.

  12. Use radio buttons instead of checkboxes for assigning licenses to users

According to Microsoft Global Business Technical Support, "If you assign two licenses on an user it will create two mailboxes and it conflicts. As a result, it will show unusual behavior". So it's very strange that the list of licenses is presented with checkboxes in [Microsoft Admin Center > Users > Click a user > Licneses and Apps tab]. The use of checkboxes encourages admins to invoke unsupported behaviour that may compromise data.

I recommend that the list of licenses in the aforementioned screen be presented with radio buttons (so that only one can be selected) and not checkboxes.

  13. Create Message Trace Role or Permission (RBAC)

Please add a 'Message Trace' role group or built-in RBAC that only provides users access to perform message trace within Exchange Online / Sec & Compliance portal. We've tried to create a custom RBAC to achieve this, and the custom RBAC allows users to perform basic message traces and to request extended or enhanced message trace reports. However the user still isn't able to download the extended/enhanced message trace reports. According to MS support the built-in 'View-Only Recipients' role is required to download the reports... We need more granular permissions that provide full access to all message trace features without…

  15. Send a notification mail to certain users or administrators when a message gets quarantined

It would be great that we could send a notification mail to specific users such as admins if a message would be on the list in the quarantine page in Exchange admin center. If so, we could take immediate action.

  17. Implement a feature to notify if any property which is going to be decommissioned for Windows PowerShell

Please implement a feature to notify administrators if any changes would occur for Windows PowerShell cmdlets. For example, the properties which are going to be decommissioned.
Because we didn’t have a way to find that we were no longer able to use ADDRecipient for Get-MailboxFolderPermission.

  18. Exchange and Onedrive usage statistics

I would like to have a table grouping together the list of users and, for each of them, the storage space used by Onedrive and Exchange, as well as the total storage of each of these services.
This table would be accessible in one click from the user administration and / or sent by email monthly in CSV format

  19. Block emails if users in CC/BCC line are not in the organization

We need a feature that can block emails by using Transport rule if a recipient is not in the organization and users in CC/BCC line are not in the organization. So, we will be able to use email in secure manner.

  20. O365 Licensing Removal Grace Period

When a license is removed from a user, something containing exchange in particular, the effect is immediate. Mailbox is inaccessible, mail sent to the user bounces. It would be nice if there were a mechanism to allow for those services to persist for some amount of time (10 days?) to allow for new licensing to be applied so the services do not have a hard stop. This would be particularly useful for moving license types (Example E1-->E5) were each license is assigned by a dynamic group. In this scenario moving between the two assignments has the potential to leave the…
