  1. Please Provide older versions of AAD Connect on the download page.

    I ran into an issue where I had two different clients moving to Office 365 in one way or another. One is moving email the other is just using synced passwords to log into O365 to download updated copies of Office. Anyways I used the latest version of AAD Connect. 1.1.561.0 on both servers.One being a brand new Server 2016 box and the other being a Server 2012 R2. On both I received the same error stating the sync services could not be started but didn't really provide much info other then that. I did some googling and and found…

  2. The allow list should check the Sender header too. This would let us add mailing lists to the allow rules

    The Protection > Spam filter > Allow list should let you check for the Sender header, not just the From header so individual mailing list addresses can be allowed past the spam check.

  3. Make sure custom themes do not change the color of application icons

    When you select a theme, the app icons and the background both change to the same color, making the app icons illegible for most themes. It would be great if the app icons could have a different color. Also, with the new interface main apps such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint whose icons were displayed in their native colors, are now all being displayed in the same color and only change color if you hover over.

    Add a plan manager so that members cannot delete assigned tasks by the plan manager

  5. aliases

    User Management Administrator role must have ability to manage Aliases. Aliases are a "user management" feature so give the role the ability to manage them.

  7. Suggested Meetings -Event should not auto cc every person on the original email

    Suggested Meetings Addin :
    Event created should not auto cc every person on the original email by default. (interface defaults to this)

    Currently the default behaviour seems to set up a meeting with everyone on the sender and cc list for the suggested meeting. This could be the mechanism that every phisher on the planet is waiting for.

  8. Need to generate report that shows user license changes over time

    For example:
    User is assigned E1 license on X date,
    ...then moved up to E5 on Y date,
    ...then finally reassigned to E3 license on Z date.

    We need these metrics for internal billing purposes as new hires should not be charged license fees for that year's "months preceding hire date".

  9. Alert Users when they try Self-Service Sign Up for PowerBI and PowerApps that their Admins might be in Trouble to manage Office 365 tenants.

    Many Office 365 Admins have got in trouble when they tried to add their custom domains to their tenants but couldn't.
    This is because the domains had already been added to unknown tenants without Admins after their users had conducted self-service sign up for PowerBI and PowerApps, and etc..
    In this case, Admins need to log on to the unknown tenant first, and proceed "Verification your domain" step by adding DNS record to become an Admin.
    After this, Admins change the signed-up users' domains of UPN to delete the custom domain.
    Without knowing these facts, Admins try adding DNS records…

  10. Charge back System

    Our IT department uses a charge back system for the services we provided. Currently, we use PowerShell script to run a report on our on-prem environment. It gathers department billing code, department name, mailbox tier (1GB, 2GB or 5GB), email Encryption AD/Exchange custom attributes. The report goes to billing department as .txt file where they can import to billing system. We would like have O365 to have way of creating detailed billing report by department and the O365 services enabled for each user.

  11. Mail flow rules status

    It should be usefull to get a status of the rule when it's applied and/or synchronised.

    When i'm creating a rule and want to do some tests i dont know how much time i should wait before to know if it's good or not.

    Message trace can take time to be up to date and that can be pretty long to debug.

  12. Please do not default to sending emails with invitations to join sites or apps

    This applies to when you invite people to a list or a site, but would also apply to things like sharing a PowerApp with people. Defaulting to sending emails often leads to lots of annoying emails being inadvertently sent when not desired. I would prefer if the setting default could be off or controllable.

    Bonjour, le service support indiquait en date du 18/09/2017 un délai d'attente de 30mn pour être rappelé. Or, il a fallu 4h pour être rappelé. De ce fait l'intervention n'a pu avoir lieu que le lendemain car j'étais en déplacement lorsque le technicien m'a rappelé.
    Il serait bon d'indiquer le temps réel d'attente afin de ne pas créer de fausses attentes.

  15. Acquire a support system that is functional

    How about a support system that makes a real effort to contact the customer and offer a real solution. The current system of letting the phone ring once and sending out a canned email is workinmg.

  16. Simplify Room/Resource coexistence during lengthy migration from another platform.

    Allow either contact type of Resource or simply allow room bookings to be forwarded to an smtp address during coexistence. This will simplify coexistence and lessen the impact to customers during migration and coexistence.

  18. Migration status

    In the GUI when looking at the status of a migration, it will just show the failure when one occurs and not the current status of the migration. Powershell always has the proper migration status of the request. We can fix the move in powersell and it will continue but the GUI will not show any updates.

  19. Set Default Email Options for New Users

    I would like to be able to set the default email options for our new users. Too often users just select the first option that they see, rather than read the screen and select appropriately.

    As an administrator I would like to be able to set the default of GMT for our timezone and turn off the Focused mailbox for new users etc. They should of course always be able to change this via the settings if required.

  20. Alert new customers on the sign-up page that they cannot change the subdomain (e.g. xxxxx.onmicrosoft.com) after signed-up tenants

    There have been lots of customers who created the tenant subdomain (e.g. xxxxx.onmicrosoft.com) tentatively or just spelled mistakenly when signing-up and tried to change it later.
    Or many customers created the subdomain before their company names have changed, then realize they have to create new tenants just because they cannot change the existent subdomain.
    Therefore, it would be the best that there is an alert for new customers on the sign-up page to let them know they cannot change the subdomain after signed-up, if it's impossible to change the existent tenant subdomain (e.g. xxxxx.onmicrosoft.com) both now and in the future. …
