  1. One Drive share links are not eliminated until the retention period ends

For security reasons it will be good that the shared links from ONEDRIVE be eliminated for external sharing once the account it is eliminated from Azure AD not when the retention period end. Internals links are ok to maintain but not the external. We have users leaving the company and sharing with their social emails the entire Onedrive folder.

  2. Deterring Reply All for large number of recipients

Add a "are you sure you want to proceed" prompt if a user wants to "reply all" when the "To" field has more than X number of recipients or more than X number of DL's. Goal is to avoid unnecessary Mail Storms.

  3. An Administrator role that separates user creation and group management

I'd like to use User Management role without the ability to manage the group permissions. There are items from Office 365 groups are needs to be not accessed by User Management role.

  4. Get rolled out features from Office 365 tenant correlated to Microsoft 365 roadmap

It would be interesting for us as MSFT partners, and probably for many other admins, to be able to get a list of the latest rolled-out updates from an Office 365 tenant.

Message center tells you when an update will, more or less, be rolled-out, but you never know for sure if it is deployed or not into your tenant.

Now, you can get the Tenant build from the Exchange Management Shell, but there is no way to correlate the build number with any roadmap items.

It would be awesome if we could poll an Office 365 tenant (through powershell,…

  5. Add-Ins deployed via centralized deployment should still be available after diabling optional connected experiences in office

In version 1904, the new privacy controls for O365 ProPlus have been released, including the possibility to deactivate so-called "optional connected experiences". The documentation states that those services are not covered by the contract made between the company and microsoft, so we'd like to deactivate those services.
Deactivating the optional connected experiences also means deactivating the office store and its add-ins. According to our tests, this also affects the add-ins, that have been explicitly deployed via centralized deployment.
This is not be behaviour we expected. If you deploy an add-in in the admin centre, it also means that it has…

  6. Partner Admin Restrictions

We have now enforced all our techs to use the partner admin to restrict and log access but some of the restrictive features are really causing us issues particularly some of the things that are done on a daily basis like converting user mailboxes to shared.

I logged a ticket with MS who provided the following details on what is restricted to techs using the delegated partner admin portal.

delegated admin will have no access to
    1. Cannot convert User Mailbox to Shared Mailbox ( Vice versa )
    2. Will not be able to export eDiscovery results.
    3. Cannot delete…

  8. MFA app notifications to show IP address and location the prompt generated from.

Inside the Microsoft Authenticator app, when a user gets prompted for approve or deny MFA, there should be information around the location and the IP address that generated the prompt. Example: User is in Auckland,New Zealand and the prompt was generated because credentials being tried in Ireland, the user should see that prompt is from Ireland and the public IP address its coming from. Users can then report fraud or deny with a more informative decision.

  9. Option to disable "Popular Around Me" in OneDrive

In OneDrive (on the web) --> Shared, there is a new section at the top of the page labeled "Popular Around Me".

OneDrive admins should be able to disable this feature at the tenant level or per user or group.

    It currently cannot be disabled.

  10. Need the ability to turn off "Notify my team" feature for document library upload

When uploading a document to a SharePoint library in "Modern Experience", the "Notify my team" option appears. We need the ability to turn this off because it triggered notification to all groups and/or users that have permission to the library. The groups can contain hundred of thousand of users causing hundred of thousand notification emails to be sent out to O365 organization. This is causing major business disruption. We would like to avoid this disruption by turning "Notify my team" feature. According to this tech community article (https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/SharePoint/Modern-Library-quot-Notify-your-team-quot-option-after-upload/td-p/220338), there is currently no way to turn off this feature.

  12. Report showing SharePoint user activity per site collection

It’s currently possible to get tenant-wide reports from SharePoint for user activity, and for site collection activity, but I need a combination of the two: user activity broken down per site collection.

Here’s the use case: here at UC Berkeley, most of our SPO users are members of more than one Site Collection. We’ve got a large number of Site Collections we suspect are not being used, or are only being used by a very small number of people.

However, we can’t confirm that unless we can get a breakdown of which users are using which site collections.

    In other…

  13. Disable auto-deletion of calendar updates containing non-time updates

Current behavior in Outlook 2016/2013, as well as O365 OWA when an existing calendar appointment is updated with a text change, or attachment addition is for the appointment to be auto-updated, and the update message to be sent to the deleted items. This causes users to miss vital calendar updates.

I have opened a case with Microsoft, and was told that there is no way to modify this behavior from either the client or admin portal.

I suggest either adding a client option (to Outlook or OWA) to disable this behavior (so ALL calendar modification messages show in the inbox,…

  14. Resolve SMTP mail duplicate problem when sending to multiple addresses from GSuite

GSuite accounts that are configured to send through Office 365 accounts via SMTP started sending multiple copies of the same email any time more than one domain name is sent to in a single email. For example you might send a sales update to 40 email addresses across multiple domains and each recipient will receive the same email 40 times. For further information on the issue please read this thread: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook_com/forum/oemail-osend/multiple-copies-of-emails-sent-to-recipients-via/84cf9460-b7f4-4e6a-bf97-a115a825f369?tm=1538072613792

The only work around's are to BCC the group and put yourself in the To: field (no one gets duplicates but you) or you can take the time to…

I hope for a way to view the information for just Microsoft Graph API changes

    ■Description(内容):
    Microsoft Graph API ログの動作変更が行われる場合、事前に確認したいが、ロードマップや、メッセージ センターは情報量が多くまた、英語表記であるため作業コストが高くなる。
    Microsoft Graph API の情報に限定されていて、かつ日本語で情報を確認できるコンテンツを用意してほしい。
I want to know beforehand whenever something is changed for Microsoft Graph API logs, but there is just too much information listed in the roadmaps and message center, and everything being listed in English makes operation costs expensive.
I hope that a way to view just Microsoft Graph API information will be implemented, and make it so that it can be viewed in the Japanese language.

  18. Set show/hide icons in Office 365 portal at user-level

Some icons such as Video in O365 portal cannot be hidden at user-level.
If we set to hide some icons at tenant-level, this would affect users who are allowed to use them. So, please implement a feature to set show/hide icon at user-level.

  19. Hybrid Exchange Scenario - Replace Server with Lightweight Tool

Understanding that there is a requirement to keep an Exchange Server on-prem solely to administrate user account, can MS not release a lightweight client that can be installed on a DC or FileServer instead of requiring a full blown installation of Exchange that has to be maintained. In my eyes it should be like the AD Connect tool / Hybrid tool that updates on the fly, and allows all management functions.

  20. Manage/edit DNS records from Admin Center and via Powershell

Currently if a DNS record is managed by Office 365 (Microsoft DNS servers), only new/custom DNS records can be added but existing DNS records cannot be edited. A common requirement is the ability to change the TTL value of an MS-managed DNS record. Currently this is not feasible by design.
