  1. Unmanaged Devices setting - allow full acces to only some SharePoint sites and restrict access on new sites

Currently in the Unmanaged devices setting in the SharePoint Admin portal you can allow full access, limited access or no access to all sites from unmanaged devices.

If you wish to give full access to just a few of your site collections and restrict access on all the rest you need to allow full access, then use PowerShell to restrict access on all sites and use PowerShell again to allow full access to a particular site collection.

The problem is everytime a new site collection is created you need to run PowerShell again on each new site to restrict it.…

  2. Changing a users UPN causes a lot of problems

Need a better and more automatic process for changing a users User Principal Name (UPN) when the company name/URL changes. The first time a user logs onto their local computer with their new UPN many Office 365 items are broken. For example, all the user's OneNote's stored in their OneDrive break and have to be manually re-pathed. Meeting requests and OneDrive file shares don't work and have to be re-shared. Outlook and Skype Profiles break and have to be rebuilt. Each user changed looses about an hour of their time. Multiply that by a thousand users and it is a…

  3. Enable option to clear or delete the whole Preservation Hold Library

After removing the lock on the preservation hold library, we can delete items. However, it only allows us to delete files by batch However, it would be troublesome to delete files manually specially if the library contains around 1TB. So we need an option in the library settings that would allow to automatically clear preservation hold library or delete the library itself.

  4. Windows PowerShell commandlets that support Microsoft Stream

    *English follows Japanese
    ■Title(件名):
Microsoft Stream に対応する Windows PowerShell コマンドレットについて
Windows PowerShell commandlets that support Microsoft Stream

    ■Description(内容):

Currently there are no Windows PowerShell commandlets to support Microsoft Stream management, and almost all management needs to be done on the GUI.

If the amount of videos uploaded or Microsoft Stream users increase the workload for managing them will increase as well, thus we hope that Windows PowerShell commandlets will be provided for checking owners and viewers, and for registering video viewers at once.

  5. Enable the 'Do Not Deliver Before' option to OWA to delay sending emails.

With so many of us working from remote locations and working modified schedules, it is important that we are able to delay email delivery to ensure our colleagues are able to maintain work/life balance, even though some of us may not be able to. With limited VPN resources, I rely on OWA. It would be nice to have the functionality of delayed delivery in OWA, like I do in the desktop app.

  6. Create a radial on ticket creation to confirm it is the correct tenant

As a Microsoft support agent we are held to a high privacy standard to protect our customers. This gets a bit convuluted when the customer has a third party IT support. Too many times a ticket is opened up under the IT company's tenant instead of the customer tenant we need to work on. This puts us in a bad situation as we have to tell them to open a new ticket under the correct tenant. This causes frustration and lowers customer satisfaction and delays resolution.

Solution: Add a Yes/No radial when creating a ticket asking if the tenant you…

  7. Feature to schedule when to export the Usage report from Microsoft 365 admin center

We export the Exchange usage report and check it every month. So, it would be great if we could automatically export the Exchange usage report from Microsoft 365 admin center by setting a schedule, probably on the first day of every month.

  8. Updates in SharePoint are overwritten during collaboration

The issue occurs when multiple users are collaborating on a file and one (or more) user is disconnected from the internet. Once the user is reconnected, the user either saves an updated version (i.e., updates to the previously opened version) or saves (or auto-saves) the previous version. This will overwrite any updates made by other user(s) while the user was disconnected.

Here’s an example that outlines the scenario:

    1. User 1 opens the file and views current version A.

    2. User 2 opens the same file and views current version A.

    3. User 2’s internet is disconnected while viewing version A (e.g., due…

  9. Retrieve the value (Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book) in Outlook desktop client by using PowerShell

We would like to retrieve the value (Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book) set for all users in the tenant by using Windows PowerShell.
We would like to see whether the setting is enabled in Outlook desktop client by admins.

  10. Keep the New-MoveRequest cmdlt remained

We are aware of the decommission of the New-MoveRequest cmdlt as per the message center announcement: MC206405, but we would like to keep using it. This cmdlet is very useful as a workaround for some problems such as the OOF delay on the room mailbox. So it would be great if you can keep it remained or provide us any other alternative method for New-MoveRequest.

  11. Search Existing Group Files for Attachments in SharePoint/Microsoft Lists

Please enable the ability to search files within the Group as well as upload from ones computer when adding attachments to SharePoint/Microsoft Lists. Currently users are left with the option to either upload a file to the Attachments field from File Explorer or copy and paste a link from a Document in the SharePoint library in a separate Link field.
This feature has been added to Microsoft Planner, as an example, and works very nicely in Planner Online and within Teams.

  12. Add wildcard feature to making searching easier in the Office 365 admin center

We have a couple of clients that have over 1000 accounts and 200 dist lists. It would be so much easier to find what we are looking for if there was a wildcard feature in the search bar, such as * or %

  16. Option to disable "Popular Around Me" in OneDrive

In OneDrive (on the web) --> Shared, there is a new section at the top of the page labeled "Popular Around Me".

OneDrive admins should be able to disable this feature at the tenant level or per user or group.

    It currently cannot be disabled.

  17. Make it possible to Import PST-Files from Germany

    Please make this feature avaliable:

Network upload is currently available in these regions: United States, Canada, Brazil, the United Kingdom, France, Europe, India, East Asia, Southeast Asia, Japan, Republic of Korea, and Australia. Network upload will be available in more regions soon.

At this time, network upload of PST files is not available in Germany and Switzerland. This FAQ will be updated when network upload is available in these countries.

  19. Mail Flow Rules - give ability to block internal only emails

Mail Flow Rules - give ability to block emails with only internal recipients

In Mail Flow Rules, under All This Rule, please add "All recipients include... " or something like that under the options for "Apply this rule if..." so that we can block emails which have only internal recipients since those conversations should be happening in Teams.

Also, ideally we would be able to allow calendar invites to come through.

    Thanks!

  20. Enable DKIM for Office 365 Home with custom email domain

The Office 365 Home subscription allows you to use your your own email domain. However, there is no option to enable DKIM and without it, outgoing email often ends up in the recipient's Spam folder, making the custom email domain capability useless.

Please expose the DKIM setting on the UI for O365 Home subscribers.
The feature itself is already implemented and available in the Business edition, but requires the Admin panel which does not exist in Office 365 Home.
