  1. Include automapping option in mailbox delegation GUI

As I understand it automapping is enabled by default when creating a mailbox or adding full access permissions in GUI. A lot of the times I have to check people's mailboxes and then when I start my Outlook all those mailboxes are added to my profile and I can start creating it again. There's also a difference in the way the mailbox is added to Outlook (additional account or additional mailbox) so we don't have control over that either. The mapping also doesn't always seem to work as expected.

What I would like to see implemented is a check box…

  2. Do not auto-archive Tasks by retention policies when it's not complete

Not accomplished Tasks which are older than the set age in the retention policy become archived.

This behavior is not correct. They may be archived when the task got the flag 'Done'

Say you're retention policy is set to 60 days. Your tasks are 59 days old and not done yet. When you get sick for a week for example your unaccomplished tasks are archived and gone from your tasklist.

This is critical when you are task Poweruser.

You still don't have the chance to exclude tasks from the retention policy because there's no option.

    Please correct this.

  3. Receive notifications for service incidents that appear in your admin portal.

I can only locate a way to get notified via mobile device.

  4. Add 'Office' option to Dynamic Distribution Groups

Currently when creating a dynamic distribution groups, I can only add membership rules for 'State or province', 'Company' or 'Department'. It would be very useful to have 'Office' here as an option to dynamically created office distribution groups.

  5. Provide ability to access shared mailboxes from mobile apps

It is currently not possible to access shared mailboxes via native mail apps on iphone or android. It is also not possible to access via Outlook for iphone.

This means it is not possible for key staff to recieve notifications for new emails on their mobile when out of the office.

The workaround is to utilise OWA in mobile browser, however this is not a workable solution for passive monitoring of emails - the user must actively check in.

I would like to request that microsoft provide a supported method for adding shared mailbox accounts to mobile email clients.

  6. Office 365 application user-agents for EwsAllowList

When using the EwsAllowList to limit connectivity to Exchange, you must know the user-agent string of an app you want to allow. As Microsoft adds apps to Office 365, it is often difficult to determine the user-agent string needed for the EwsAllowList; even when submitting a ticket. It would be helpful if this information was published, or made available to the Microsoft support teams.

  7. Sharing Global Address List

Currently it is not possible for different tenants to share the Global Address list.
But the function that Admin User can set GAL sharing with different tenants will be an effective feature for users.

This feedback is based on a customer voice from support SR.

  9. Allow a federated domain to be set as default domain

Allow a federated domain to be set as default domain and update existing users (sync-ed from AD). Forcing the .onmicrosoft.com for user login causes admin headaches in mid to larger domains using an internal non-routable domain.

  10. Allow sending as Alias address

The user should be able to edit the FROM address in Outlook and send an e-mail message as any of the aliases associated with the user mailbox.
    .
Many other e-mail providers allow this, and Office 365 should also offer it as a possibility.
    .
    .
    Workaround Distribution List:
If you want the user to send from an alias, but receive answers in their own mailbox, then you must create a Distribution List (DL) and add the alias address to it. Then provide "send as" permission to the user.
    .
This is too complicated, hard to manage and keep track…

  11. Extend the Hybrid Exchange Agent to support hybrid mail flow

The (new) hybrid architecture simplifies network connectivity by leveraging the same principles as the Azure AD App Proxy. However, it only works for (inbound) HTTP connections used for Free/Busy and Mailbox Moves. Most hybrid deployments also use (hybrid) mail flow and would still require some sort of inbound connectivity to either Exchange or the Edge Transport servers. As such, the current implementation of the solution only solves half of the issue.

Please, support this idea if you believe it would be a valuable addition to the solution. More specifically, I am hoping to solve the following challenges:

    1. Require inbound connectivity…

  12. mail flow to use alias

Currently in mail flow i see no way to add an alias to mail flow rule. When you add a user it only adds the primary email address and not the aliases associated with that person. Adding the alias explicitly also redirects to the primary email address. The only way i have found to add and alias is to add it if the recipient address matches the word - email alias. Potentially this way will allow for abuse if other email addresses are created matching this pattern,

  13. Disable the feature that is mentioned in MC213897

We would like to disable the feature that a user who is blocked from purchasing self-service purchase product will be able to submit a request to be unblocked.
We already determined that our organization doesn’t let users utilize the self-service purchase service. But if users submit the request to unblock in each time, Admins will have more work. We need to disable the feature so that Admins could reduce his task.

  14. Flagged emails in Shared mailbox not visible in Tasks in Outlook (desktop version)

I hope to get this feature or function implemented, wherein flagged emails in Shared mailbox to show up in Tasks in Outlook. Currently when we flag emails in the Shared mailbox we don't see it under Tasks, even the flagged emails in the regular mailbox don't show up.

We hope to have this considered and implemented...

  15. automatically set mailbox property address book policy

In Office 365 for Education we use address book policy (ABP). We can create the policy and make sure that every new user is placed in the correct ABP based on the UPN-suffix. This is a one time action. However there is no policy to assign the ABP to newly created mailboxes. We have to assign the ABP with the powershell command "set-mailbox" every time a mailbox is created. As we provision thousands of mailboxes on tens of tenants through Microsoft Graph API (which does not support setting the property) using powershell for this is not realy an option. it…

  17. Opportunity to change timezone in Exchange Admin Center

It would be nice to have opportunity to change timezone in Exchange Admin Center, right now default time is UTC, so when admin is viewing logs has to convert time manually.

  18. Allow Office 365 admins to set their own lockout policies/ allow sync policies from AD in hybrid setup

Need the ability to see or edit the default account lockout policies.
We have a hybrid setup i.e., accounts are syncing from AD server to MS 365.
currently the default lockout policy is set to 10 wrong login attempts at MS 365. But the account lockout policy on AD is 5 wrong attempts.
So if any user got locked out on AD is still able to access MS 365 account. I feel that is not the meaning of syncing.
We have contacted MS 365 support on this but no one has any idea of how to check, edit or sync…

  19. Allow admin to create powershell session using app password

    Hi,

While using email address and MFA app password to connect to exchange online using powershell its throwing the following error:

Admin is not allowed to create session using app password.

While trying connect-msolservice with the latest windows azure powershell module its connecting. But not working on

    $UserCredential = Get-Credential
    $Session = New-PSSession -ConfigurationName Microsoft.Exchange -ConnectionUri https://outlook.office365.com/powershell-liveid/ -Credential $UserCredential -Authentication Basic -AllowRedirection
    Import-PSSession $Session

    Please add this feature

  20. Add the option to view Message Header in Message Trace.

Add the option on message tracking to view the message header. The message header allows a deep look into where the email has been and how long it takes to get from system to system. Currently we can search a header on everything prior to O365 so this would be useful.
