Ability to remove disabled users from Org Charts
Currently Delve displays a person on the org chart if they have a valid account and the manager is set. It gets its data from AD and Azure AD and funnels that through SP Online to get generated.
The issue is that newly disabled people are not removed from the org chart. For instance we mark an employee as disabled, remove their licensing and ensure access is blocked. Even with this done, a departed employee will display on the org chart. How Microsoft support suggested to fix it - ManagerID, but for OneDrive Notifications and rights transfers we cannot remove manager id. Delete the person from Azure AD (o365) - We cannot also immediately delete that person from Azure AD (o365) for the similar reasons including the loss of data from that persons account.
We would like the org chart to have the ability to recognize disabled users and or hidden users should not be displayed on the org chart. This would allow our org chart to be correct all of the time.
We are currently working on automatically removing hidden/disabled users from the org chart.
When will the end of work
How do you even set up the organization chart in Delve. I have no clue.
Thanks for the update! We can't wait.
Two additional questions:
-What do you mean with a "hidden" user? Is there a standard feature to hide a user?
-Does hiding disabled users from the Org chart also means that they will be hidden in Delve?
Please enable this feature
This is a real issue for our organisation. We are seriously considering disabling users from accessing Delve until this is fixed!
It is a real requirement that disabled users are not displayed on the org chart anymore. As long as this is not the case, this undermines the credibility of the use of Delve.
We would also like that disabled users are not be displayed on the org chart
