  1. Enhance the OneDrive Sync Client to support authenticated proxies.

Enterprise environments commonly use outbound proxies that require the outbound traffic to provide authentication credentials. When an application generates the traffic, the application needs to be able to response to the proxy request for credentials. Today, the sync client does not respond to request for credentials and the outbound traffic is blocked.

  2. Allow users to choose whether characters are automatically turned into emojis.

I hate that when I type :) it is now automatically turned into a smiley face emoji. I loathe emojis, and now my only options are to backspace after the emoji appears or to work in plain text, which disables other formatting capabilities. This is absurd. I don't want my emails littered with colorful pictures. It's entirely unprofessional, and give that Outlook is geared toward businesses, it makes no sense to turn email into a cartoon.

  3. Solve the Spinning Wheel of Death issue in Outlook for mac 2016.

For about months I have to deal with the "spinning wheel of death" (SWoD) when I type emails, change windows or click a button in Outlook 2016 for Mac. After taking these action I have to wait 10,20, 30+ seconds that something happens. The CPU percentage goes up to 200% and more.

I always have the latest versions of MacOS and Outlook installed. But with such a software it is NOT possible to work at all.

After 2,5 month talking with a nice guy on the Support phone he frustratedly gave up as well without having a solution for me.

  5. Onedrive For Business Administration

Please allow greater administrative control over Onedrive for Business. Some things that would help are:

Allow admins the option to prevent creation of subsites.

    Add reporting/auditing for site/subsite creation.

Add greater control of sharing. Currently for Onedrive we can only turn off external sharing for the entire tenant. It would be nice to have greater control over sharing. For instance, some users should be able to share externally while others can only share internally. Or possibly, create sharing policies where users can be restricted to only sharing with members of certain groups that are defined by admins.

  6. Allow Partners to convert users to shared mailboxes

Currently, only Global Administrators can convert a user account to a shared mailbox. This makes it difficult for Partners with admin rights to do what they need to do in a timely manner.
I recommend allowing global permissions for Partners to be able to make these changes, as it seems like a massive oversight.

  7. Make the Content Search WebPart (CSWP) available to all plans

Since the CSWP offers a caching mecanism that increase the performance of search results, I think it should be available to all plans and not only to E3 plans. We can achieve mostly the same results using the "Search result webpart" but this one has no caching. Making the CSWP available to all plans is a win-win for MS and customers as it lowers the server usage (through Caching) and it allows more functionnality to customers.

  8. Make the MSOnline cmdlets PSCore6 compatible so they can be used on Mac / Linux platforms

See the following github issue: https://github.com/PowerShell/PowerShell/issues/3776

These symptoms are preventing programmatic administration of office365 from non-windows PCs.

  9. Remove/extend path length limitation for OneDrive for Business

There is an annoying limitation of path length on OneDrive for Business (250 character). Even when we are using the same OneDrive app for synchronizing to private OneDrive and Business OneDrive the limitations is only present on OneDrive for Business.

  10. Resize columns in Contents (site contents) for SharePoint Online

There is no ability to resize the columns in the Contents (site contents) page. So for any apps, libraries or lists that have a title (name) with a decent amount of characters it gets cut off and it's hard to quickly tell what the title is. We have sites with numerous document libraries with long names where it takes a long time to pinpoint a particular library. You have to hover over the title on each library to get the full name. We should have the same functionality as you do when in a list or library where you can…

    OneDrive for Business on Linux
No OneDrive for Business on Linux aka Dropbox exists. This is a showstopper for many.

  12. Exchange Online change default calendar permissions on new users

When mailbox is generating at Exchange Online we need to have the possibility to set default calendar permissions from a template. With on-prem Exchange you can do it via Exchange Scripting Agent.

  13. OneDrive for Business restore full recycle bin functionality

At the moment one could restore only up to 200 items at once and it is real pain to restore ODfB fully if user has deleted all files and folders for example. And there is no PowerShell cmdlet to restore OneDrive files too, at the moment one can use PowerShell only to restore SharePoint Online sites from recycler.

  14. Flow: Create a "Wait Until Field Change in Current Item"

Please build a "wait until field change in current item" action into Microsoft Flow. This exists in SharePoint Designer and is extremely necessary for building workflows. The Do Until function does not work well, is not clear or user-friendly at all, and does not have the exact same functionality. Microsoft Flow is supposed to be more user-friendly than SharePoint Designer, but until I get this functionality I will not be able to use it, and my "SuperUsers" will never understand the Do Until action.

  15. Enable external users to use Approvals in Flow

As explained by Microsoft Office365 Support, the template Approvals in Flow does not allow external users to interact with the full process. An external user can access a SharePoint site (e.g. to browse an item list) but he/she cannot press the button Approve/Reject in the email created by the Approval process in Flow. This restriction "by design" is negative for companies like ours where we handle approvals of documents by colleagues who work for different subsidiaries (=every subsidiary a different Office365 tenant) and therefore it is impossible to manage flow inside such organization.

  16. Remove Extra Characters from the Copy Link URL recently introduced in SharePoint Online

Remove the extra URL characters in the GET A LINK function. Links now look like https://company.sharepoint.com/:b:/r/sites/sitecollection/Lists/Documents/test.pdf?csf=1 with the extra :b:/r/ in the URL. Other characters appear based on the type of document. Please eliminate these new characters and the ?csf=x variable at the end of the link so we can have clean URLs like https://company.sharepoint.com/sites/sitecollection/Lists/Documents/test.pdf.

Or at least give us the ability to configure SharePoint Online so we can have these characters removed.

This recent change by Microsoft to these SharePoint Online links is messing up our manufacturing software that is attempting to load these links from a mirrored…

  17. Recycle bin search utility

Would really be great to have a search utility in the recycle bin in one drive and office 365 so that don't have to browse through all the pages in the recycle bin to find and restore.

  18. Admin to use O365 PowerShell with Two Factor

    Hi Team,

Please can you add an option to the O365 PowerShell so that Admin users with two factor can use this tool. We MUST maintain security of our environment with Two Factor, however we do need to be able to use the Powershell tool at times. Therefore could you somehow let us use the PowerShell tool with an App Key.

  19. Azure AD - Custom Admin Roles

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/active-directory-assign-admin-roles-azure-portal

Azure AD provides a list of predefined Admin Roles, but what would be nice is the ability to create custom roles in Azure AD (as well as B2C) with option to select which attributes have read and edit rights to.

This would then allow us to provide RBAC which meet business requirements rather than having to provide too much access.

    Thanks.

  20. Change Initials

Do you think it would be asking too much for my name not to be displayed as "BJ" which is a euphemism for oral sex performed on a male? Please, and thank you.
