Create a helpdesk ticketing system within Office 365
We are currently using Office 365 Planner but it lacks capabilities for a ticketing system - cannot issue trouble tickets, issue categorisation and reporting, allow employees to log their own tickets, etc. How about creating a Helpdesk Ticketing System within Office 365?
Thanks!

Disable the new AutoSave by default, as it can lead to a loss of data
The new AutoSave can potentially lead to a loss of data. If you open any Word, PowerPoint, etc. doc, there is an "AutoSave" that is automatically on, on the upper left. If you're changing some stuff around and don't want to save, it still saves it. Or if you delete some things and then save as copy, your original is gone, because AutoSave was on. This is a horrible feature and should be disabled by default.
Version 1705 (Build 8117.1000 Click-to-Run)
Office Insider Fast3,269 votesWe see two patterns in this feedback thread and are addressing them now. The first pattern is that users want AutoSave OFF. The second pattern is that the Template scenarios are problematic with AutoSave.
To address turning AutoSave OFF, we have implemented these capabilities:
1. To avoid accidental edits by others, the owner of a file can set it to Always Open Read-Only. This can be done by setting the file to open in Read-Only Recommended (File > Info > Protect Document/ Workbook/ Presentation > Always Open in Read-Only) or by Sharing the file without allowing others to edit (File > Share > People with the link can edit > Uncheck the “Allow Editing” box).
2. Users can turn AutoSave OFF for a file. While a document is open, clicking the AutoSave toggle turns AutoSave OFF for the current document for that user. The next time the same…

Office 365 Home - Personal email domain availability
Let us use a personal email domain in Office 365 Home.
2,728 votesYou can use your own personal email with a personal domain to connect to any type of Office 365 subscription, including Office 365 Home. Office 365 Home relies on a Microsoft account for authentication. A Microsoft account can be created with any personal domain email, it is not required to be Outlook.com/Hotmail.com, etc. Once the Microsoft account is created using your personal email, you can use it to activate and sign into your Office 365 Home subscription.
If you don’t have a Microsoft account, go to the Microsoft account sign-up page and click on Create account. In the User name box enter your personal domain email address you wish to use. Fill out the rest of the form and click Create account.
Now you can set up your Office 365 Home subscription with your Microsoft account. This will be the Microsoft account associated with your Office download. If you have… -
Change the way of Initials
The initials show automatically based on the Display name. for example if my name is John Smith, my initials will be JS.
If My display name is Smith, John (which is my last name, first name) my Initials shows as SJ
The Initials are usually First character of the first name and the first character of the last name. regardless of my display name, my initials should be the same
So I suggest to have the Initials created based on the "First Name" and "Last Name" fields not on the "Display Name" field

Office 365 support for Windows Server 2019
With the recent announcement @ Ignite that Office 365 would not be supported on Windows Server 2019, I’d like to request that decision to be reversed. As a long time RDSH admin this is a poor decision and would require using Office 2019 to connect to a cloud mailbox. Essentially requiring a double license for Office functionality in RDSH.

Share multiple files from OneDrive or SharePoint
It would be great if we could select files in OneDrive or SharePoint, and 'share' them simultaneously, to avoid having to create a folder in which to group files to be shared.

FIDO U2F
Office 365 for work: We need Office 365 for Work support a FIDO Universal Second Factor (U2F) protocol standard Security Key.
As many organisation would like to shift to Office 365 but they concern about the security standard which request Office 365 to support Universal Second Factor (U2F) protocol standard security key as Microsoft is a member of FIDO.
So, I wrote this idea to be a feedback request to Office team.

(Update from Office engineering) Thank you for voting, we appreciate your feedback. User Voice is an important input we are considering when establishing the product road map. In general, when providing feedback specific for Excel Online, I would recommend using Excel Online UserVoice, where you’ll find the specific feature granularity.
I would like to use the opportunity to provide update on progress:
What is already available in production?
• Find dialog remain open when find item for find next.
• replace dialog
• Ability to Freeze PanesPlease give it a try, we are looking forward to your feedback.
What is high on our backlog – Impacted by User Voice voting – Keep voting• Custom Sort
• Enable reference to a cell in another sheet by click (In Vlookup as well)
• Enhanced Print
• Pivot table - Find function is very limited

The purpose of the Office Deployment Tool is to provide this capability. Download the Office 2016 version from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49117.

Allow users to edit their personal info
Under Office 365 settings > Personal info, only admins can change their own details.
I understand this is restricted to prevent abuse. However, organizations should be given the freedom to choose whether or not to lift this restriction. I suggest an additional option/rule under Exchange's user roles.
Please also add the field "Title" to the Personal info section if it's not the currently displayed "Occupation".

add ability to create folders in Forms App so people can sort their forms!
Add folders to forms app so users can sort them. As it is is like having the main documents folder with no ability to create sub folders and therefore all documents in one "documents" folder

teams picture
disable user ability to change the user picture from teams. Currently we use AD to add user pictures and use an OWA Mailboc policy to prohibit users from changing them.
Now with Teams they can change the picture and this then flows across all O365 services against company policy.
Please create an option to disable picture changing within Teams.1,111 votes -

Ability to upload and use custom fonts
It should be possible to upload and use custom fonts installed on an organisations Office 365 platform. Uploaded documents now look faulty in Excel / Word / PowerPoint etc since the font is not installed.

Offer Options for the Office 365 Ribbon Appearance
I am disappointed with the appearance of the new Office 365 ribbon. I use a desktop and a laptop and find the monotone look and the over simplistic icons confusing and hard to read. These look like changes, just for the sake of change.
Options to revert to earlier versions that users were familiar with, would have been appreciated.957 votes -
Highlighted Content Web Part -> allow Multiple Filters based on "And" rather than "Or"
Currently the Highlighted Content Web Part allows you to filter based on more than one Managed Properties. That's great, however, when you select more than one property it displays all documents tagged with EITHER property, rather than displaying only documents that are tagged with BOTH properties.
For example, I have a library with tags for: Department, and Document Type. I want to display these documents on a HCWB in my Communication Site. I only want to display Budget documents from the Finance department. But I can't do that, I can only display all documents tagged with Budget AND all documents…951 votes -
Powershell ISE Freezes when MFA is Enabled
After enabling MFA for our accounts now everyone has issues using the PowerShell ISE tool with the MSOnline modules. About 5-15 minutes after loading the MSOnline module and making the connection using Connect-MSOLService the entire ISE window will freeze and you have to use task manager to kill it. If you disable MFA for the user account in use then the problem goes away. This is using the latest versions of the cmdlets and on a Windows 10 Creators update computer. This has been an on-going issue since PowerShell 4.0. It appears to be related to an issue with WinForms…
