  1. URL shortener when sharing

when sharing links to documents, etc, the URL's are way too long.

Can you integrate something like bitly or another tool to make them less than the 208 characters that the last link I shared was.

The ideal place to offer this feature is when you are given the option to 'copy' the URL.

I am also waiting to see a response from this post: https://goo.gl/h6wTRt

    The last comment says:
*Update March 15, 2016: We’re working on a new approach to shortening the sharing links that will better enhance our users’ experience. Unfortunately, we had to remove the current experience…

  2. Please allow us to change the Sent From email from no-reply@sharepointonline.com to something else

Please allow us to change the Sent From email from no-reply@sharepointonline.com to something else. I send emails using WorkFlows and need to have the Sent From address be something I can define from a field in a list or library.

  3. Option to save Office files to local drive first, then sync to Sharepoint / OneDrive

Currently, the default "Save" syncs the file to Sharepoint / OneDrive, then syncs from the cloud back to the local drive. This is a bad sequence, as, if there is a problem uploading and the file cannot be synced, the file is then completely lost. This feature can be manually overridden by going to "File," "Save As," and selecting "This PC," but must be done every time. Besides risking loss of data, by syncing to Sharepoint/OneDrive first, it locks up the file from being able to be used. If the file were simply saved locally first (which is fast), the…

  4. ABILITY TO TURN OFF AUTOSAVE

Not everyone wants the AUTOSAVE option. Microsoft need to build in the ability to disable the autosave. I frequently use one document to create another and the autosave means that I cannot keep both versions without lots of back peddling into older versions, which I do not have the capacity to time manage

  5. OneDrive for Business sync Document library containing metadata.

Problem syncing document libraries with metadata in columns. A lot of companies are using metadata columns in document libraries for search and other reasons.

  7. Office 365 Connected Accounts Update Frequency

I suggest you update Office 365 to allow the user to configure the frequency at which Connected Accounts (gmail, yahoo, etc) are synch'd to Exchange/Outlook. Waiting up to an hour to receive new messages from other accounts is simply NOT acceptable. This has been a known issue for years and needs to be changed NOW.

  8. Reset or clear autocomplete cache globally for OWA

In a larger organization 300+ users, we find that the autocomplete cache over time gets filled with contacts that are infrequently used yet sometimes staff end of sending internal emails to these contacts that should have been sent to an internal contact instead.

Would like ability to reset/clear the autocomplete cache for OWA or to disable it for certain users or all users.

  9. Business Contact Manager For Outlook 2016

For years I've been using Business Contact Manager with Outlook. After upgrading to Outlook to 2016 I'm told via a pop-up box AFTER launching the program for the first time that BCM is no longer compatible. Note, I'm not warned about this until AFTER the upgrade. Now I'm stuck without the ability to roll back to Outlook 2013. How about warning users BEFORE upgrading or make BCM work with the current version of Outlook?

  10. The Top results when searching for mail are confusing and useless

The OWA Top results when searching for email cause significant confusion. One expects the most recent result to be listed at the top, but instead more than 1 year old results are shown first under "Top results." Those results are not "Top" in anyone's book and in addition, the UI is not obvious enough to indicate that the results you're likely looking for are under "All results."

  12. Fix saving all attachments to a folder in Outlook 2016

Since about september 2017 you cannot save "all attachments" to a folder any more. When you click "save all attachments", there is no error message, the files are just not saved. It is described here (https://answers.microsoft.com/de-de/msoffice/forum/msoffice_outlook-mso_win10-mso_2016/outlook-2016-fehler-die-anlage-kann-nicht/8be09012-37dd-4647-8b99-98cdcdbdd83d) and here (https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/de-DE/819dcbc5-b70b-4396-8eb4-85a8f6cda005/outlook-2016-fehler-die-anlage-kann-nicht-gespeichert-werden-die-datei-kann-nicht-gefunden-werden?forum=Office2016ITProDE).
It happens on local and network drives on Windows 10 with Outlook 2016.

  13. Share PowerApps with Office 365 Groups

Office 365 Groups (aka: "unified-groups") are becoming the "standard" share target in Office 365. You can share SharePoint content (files, list items, etc.) with an O365 Group. You can share Microsoft Stream content with an O365 Group. You can share a Flow with an O365 Group. You CANNOT, however, share a PowerApp with an O365 Group. This is a huge issue and greatly complicates our job of "selling" PowerApps as a solution.

For example, we've successfully convinced a LOT of our client groups that an O365 Group is a better solution than "just" a SharePoint site (most of these had…

  14. Sync Project Tasks with outlook

    To whom it may concern:

My name is Sherry Masih and I work as a project manager for HH Builders. We are a construction development company located in New York. Last Year we migrated all our emails to Microsoft office 365 in the lieu of using the Microsoft Project Task sync option to Outlook. Since we are a construction company it is very necessary for us to be able to assign tasks to each project manager in Microsoft Project and have it directly synced with their Outlook Tasks. This feature has tremendously worked well with our organization from the time…

  15. Powershell Command to purge specific mailbox folders

Currently you can purge all contents of a user mailbox by using the following commands:

    Search-Mailbox -Identity "identity" -DeleteContent -force
    Search-mailbox -identity "identity" -SearchDumpsterOnly -DeleteContent

This wipes the user mailbox completely without removing the mailbox itself. There currently is not a way to refine and delete content for specific mailbox or custom folder names while leaving content from other folders in the mailbox alone. Example: Purge only: Junk Email, Deleted Items, Clutter, Custom Folder 1, Custom Folder 2, etc.

  16. Excel Online - Copy sheets

It is not possible to copy or move sheets in Excel online. We need at least a "duplicate" function.

  17. Multiple Exchange accounts in Skype for Business

I have multiple exchange accounts to support different customers, including one from my employer. Two are through 365 and one is for a on premise Exchange/Lync. It would be very helpful if I could connect to these accounts simultaneously in Skype for business.

  18. Office 365 Outlook 2016 searching shared mailboxes is problematic.

There is an issue with searching shared mailboxes with Office 365 accounts. Shared mailbox searching does not work as expected in cached mode. Only the current folder gets searched. The solution provided by Microsoft support is to switch to online mode. However, this not causes usability problems with larger shared mail boxes.
Please look at changing the way Outlook searches shared mailboxes. Perhaps allow a complete online search or maybe use WDS on the cached mailbox.

  19. Allow delegates the ability to access Exchange Online Archive without Full Access permissions

When a user provides delegate access to calendar or folders, they should have the ability to apply the same permissions on their Exchange Online Archive without providing full access permissions for the delegate. When the permission is applied on the folder level of the Exchange Online Archive, it should be easy for the delegate to access the Exchange Online Archive in Outlook or Outlook Web App.

  20. Modified dates in Site Contents should reflect content changes, not system changes

Looking at the modified values in Site Contents has always been a quick way to recognize where activity has occurred - if it has. Without running any code we can quickly see if a site has been used recently. (It was easier to eyeball this in SharePoint 2007 in the vertical listing than it is in SharePoint 2013+, but that's a different UI issue - tiles aren't helpful for every use case.)

For months now, a list no one has touched for over a year might say "Modified 23 hours ago". It seems as though lists and libraries are being…
