Allow tags when assigning work to students in Teams
For teachers working with special education students, the team assignment process could be greatly simplified by allowing the teacher to assign work to a "tagged" group of students. This would allow the teacher to set up two tagged groups (general education and another with students who need modified versions of the work being completed) and when they create the two assignments, they could assign each to their respective tagged group. This would cut down on many of the steps needed to complete this task now. It would also keep students in the classroom unaware that there are different assignments for students causing a more inclusive classroom environment for everyone. Compounding on that, it would be great to be able to post assignments directly to private channels within a Microsoft Team. This would be a great way for each group of students to keep track of the assignments they need to complete without posting it to a public channel for all to see.

While at it, also allow tags to be used to quickly populate other lists of students - such as members added to a private channel.

Yes! This feature is desperately needed. By state law we cannot group the special education kids in a separate team. Therefore they must be included in the general class team AND received modified assignments, without any other students knowing that the modified assignments exists.
