Open files in read-only mode when using on-line Office365 (Word, Excel, PPT) and enable toggle between Read-Only and Edit/Save & Auto-save
When you open a file on-line (on Edge), the auto-save function is always enabled. It is not possible to turn it off. The file gets modified by simple actions as sorting or filtering a table in Excel, which makes version control almost impossible.
The suggestion is that Office365 Online (on the Web browser such as Edge) should open files in read-only mode. There should be an option to toggle between Read-Only and Edit mode, there should be the possibility to enable/disable Auto-Save, and also the possibility to Save manually (especially if Auto-Save is off).
