VBA capability to automate Microsoft edge
Currently there's no solution to automate tasks in Microsoft edge with VBA. Having a "reference" option within VBA to automate Microsoft edge would be well received. (No selenium driver does not work).
With all my automation using IE dll I will be in trouble and the EOL of IE next Aug 2021. what browser object is MS going to do to replace IE?
I use VBA to automate tasks in IE. Support for IE will end on July 2021. I would like to be able to continue automation through Edge.
I am currently looking into automation of web based tasks in my department and see a great potential in VBA + IE. It would be good if edge could be integrated with MS Office package as the days of IE are already counted.
If you are getting rid of IE then you need to give an alternative for all the existing code written on Microsoft platforms.

I am using VBA to macro the IE right now. Latest news said that IE will end on July 2021. It is nice to have reference inside of excel instead needed to download webdriver etc.

I'm finding Internet Explorer automation less and less reliable and I'd like to see a way to automate Microsoft Edge, or Chrome in VBA.
