Allow Teams VTC Instructions to be editable
Allow Teams VTC Instructions to be editable by the Administrator. currently the text that is shown on Teams Meetings is hard coded by Microsoft. This should accept the ability to use HTML to change the wording, and instructions to be more clear for individual company needs
Out of the box configuration confuses me as a user. When I look on a default message received about upcoming call I don't know which link to use when I need to connect via computer and which using my phone! :((
This would allow to improve the experience for the end users. Fully support this!
Fully agree. The fact that, in Teams, there is a separate conference ID for cloud video interop services (in our case Pexip) is very confusing to the end users. Upon trying to join a Teams Meeting the users tend to use a regular Conference ID all the time. It is, of course, not getting accepted if using Pexip (i.e. Polycom HDX / Group Series / Trio 8800). The chances to educate the users to use unnoticeable VTC Conference ID placed at very end of the Teams Meeting invitation in non- user-friendly manner are close to zero. Our proposal is to either making it possible to use a regular Conference ID by cloud video interop services, or, less preferred, making the “Join with a video conferencing device” instruction/text customizable so that the Teams tenant administrators could re-position / re-phrase / re-format it completely.
