Share stream videos to external users
Able to share the stream videos to external users

If we have added guest users to a group/Team in Teams/SharePoint, and have set up Streams video permissions to allow that same group to view a particular video uploaded to Streams in that tenancy, the guests in that group/Team should be allowed to view the video (eg if the video is embedded in a SharePoint page visible to those guests).
(This is different to letting any random external person with a link access the video as these external guest users are already accepted as part of the team/group.)

This would be awesome to use instead of relying on youtube, we could do all our work in Office 365

This update is coming in June 2021 for admins to migrate to the new stream version.
If you on the new stream platform meaning new users...then this is enabled.
So if you need to share a public video put into SharePoint or one drive and share until they roll out the changes.

So we have a Stream license and each of the businesses in our wider group has a license but we can't share a company video on our stream directly with leaders and employees in our sister businesses!
This goes against the O365 drive to support teamwork and collaboration and results in people being forced to use other non-MS platforms.
Like others on here, I recommend that this is moved up your development queue.
I need to download the video and re-upload to OneDrive to share? Right, OK, makes perfect sense.

we need this features for extranet use, because if not organizations prefer to use Youtube or vimeo...
WE NEED THIS!
VERY STUPID DESCISIONS FROM MS!
Trying to give parents guidance on using Teams with Video Lessons, we need external sharing on Stream!
Off to YouTube it is then! -_-
This issue used to be feature ID 27728 on the Office 365 roadmap. What happened?
That feature suddenly no longer exists, and instead there's a new feature 68829 that mentions Stream in the title, but only describes existing functionality in SharePoint and OneDrive.
Did you abandon this feature?

We need this functionality. Any update? Thank you,

Recording a meeting with guests then having to download the video, and then upload it again to a Team channel document library just so guests can see it is a huge waste of time.
Really need anonymous viewing.
Echo all the other statements, pretty obvious why this is needed ASAP
Funcionalidad importante !!
Indispensable pour nous !!!

No point recording a Teams meeting with an external party if you can not then easily share the recording with the same attendees.

My users are turning away from Microsoft, and this is one of the reasons. If they use YouTube or Studio or pretty much any other streaming platform, they can share content outside our organisation. Stream has brilliant features for internal use, but that's only helpful for 10% of what our school does, and this is possibly the same for any other organisation.
What no-one will accept is the incredible hassle of digging videos out of Stream only to upload to a different platform to do something so basic.
Why, my users ask, don't we just use Zoom or WebEx or pretty much anything except Teams?
The Teams mob have done a great catch-up job over the past few months...... but unless the Stream team pull their finger out on this issue (which people have been asking for for over 3 years!!!) , it will all have been too little too late.
Our Stakeholders are all Guests in teams that they participate in and they all need to be able to review meetings that have been recorded. I expect that they will need to be able to share the knowledge with their own co-workers not part of the Team and yet this is still not possible. Do you wonder why Zoom is gaining market share here?
