Add box/circle/oval drawing on Snip & Sketch

After a screen capture, often I need to highlight a capture part.
I'd like to draw a colored boxes/circles/ovals
Now I have to use paint.

    I need the rectangle box drawing feature in Snip en Sketch. I need to draw a rectangular line in a recorded printscreen. Now I have to draw free hand.

    Please change this. Now I have to use Paint.

    Microsoft PLEASE! PLEASE. Do the rectangle/box/oval feature.
    I can not understand how it can NOT be there.

    I just tried snip & sketch - the additional features are still less useful than copying snip and editing in paint.

    Very disappointed. Using multiple tools to do one job that should easily be done with one tool. Please add box/circle/oval option!

    Pretty surprised that this wasn't already included... MacOS' equivalent is way easier to use and edit

    This feature is basic requirement. If you have have to send snips without this they don't look professional.

    It us unfortunately unsurprising that Microsoft would not address basic user needs for such a simple app. Screenshot on Mac is amazing and free (after the Apple Premium of course). MS could at least add a less intuitive and less user friendly feature to add circles, ovals, boxes, arrows to such a simple application.

    without the box, oval option it makes screen captures sent to leadership teams look like elementary school projects......this feature is needed yesterday.

    Any update on this? Snip and Sketch needs this feature for people who create a lot of documentation

    Yes... I can't believe this tool doesn't let you draw on a screenshot. It would also be nice to have an obfuscate option. Greenshot has these things and obfuscate is excellent for blurring out text or numbers you don't want to include. Of course you can always use a black marker as well, but it looks better to just blur things. I would just use Greenshot, but it doesn't scale properly on a 4K display.

    Agree with the other comments here. Extremely clunky to have to open a separate application to do something as basic as draw a rectangle...
