Add box/circle/oval drawing on Snip & Sketch
After a screen capture, often I need to highlight a capture part.
I'd like to draw a colored boxes/circles/ovals
Now I have to use paint.
Arrows, too! Seriously, come on.

I need to make a quick demo about how to log in, SNIP!! Let's just highlight, what, th..
Oh that isn't too professional, has this been solved by now? No? Dang. Then I have to remember how I used to do it.
It's too bad the Window's user and install base is so tiny and the company behind it so unknown compared to big companies like Ubuntu, who pay people big money to make software that solves users issues, or workflow needs.
I still use the old MS splinter project: **Zoomit**, to mark up a screen before I capture it, but it's UI is hard to acquaint with new users that just want to share visual documentation and screenshots quickly.
I guess Snip and Sketch is a Windows feature, but still...
Oh yes please, please, pretty please! I'm giving it the full 3 votes!
Bonus points if the box had an option for a solid fill colour or a blur option, so you can blank out any sensitive information.
It would be nice if the ruler and protractor had their own buttons too.

This feature is really handy, please add it in next release.
This is an obvious conspiracy to make us keep using mspaint
Absoultely incredible that I can't draw a ******* rectangle in 2020... Snip & Sketch is just as useless as Snipping Tool was.
I think MS is not really devoting any time or effort into this. You can draw a box...by using the ruler to carefully draw 4 straight perpendicular lines. Come on, are you kidding me? Use SnagIt instead. I'm using the version from 5 years ago, and it's 10 years ahead of MS snip products. I can draw a rectangle, or even a ROUNDED rectangle, in half a second. Then resize it afterwards. MS isn't just in left the dust, they're not even on the same planet.
arrows would also help
I need the rectangle box drawing feature in Snip en Sketch. I need to draw a rectangular line in a recorded printscreen. Now I have to draw free hand.
Please change this. Now I have to use Paint.
Microsoft PLEASE! PLEASE. Do the rectangle/box/oval feature.
I can not understand how it can NOT be there.
I just tried snip & sketch - the additional features are still less useful than copying snip and editing in paint.
Arrows as well would be nice.
Text box and shapes menu highly needed!!

Very disappointed. Using multiple tools to do one job that should easily be done with one tool. Please add box/circle/oval option!

Text Box, Rectangle, Oval highly needed. Vote for it.

Pretty surprised that this wasn't already included... MacOS' equivalent is way easier to use and edit
This feature is basic requirement. If you have have to send snips without this they don't look professional.

Seriously, super easy addition but this would be super convenient (and not have to use paint)
It us unfortunately unsurprising that Microsoft would not address basic user needs for such a simple app. Screenshot on Mac is amazing and free (after the Apple Premium of course). MS could at least add a less intuitive and less user friendly feature to add circles, ovals, boxes, arrows to such a simple application.

without the box, oval option it makes screen captures sent to leadership teams look like elementary school projects......this feature is needed yesterday.
