Multiple delegates on room mailbox management
We have found having multiple delegates for a room mailbox can cause a bit of a headache, and could be improved.
If a booking is put through, and delegate A approves the booking, delegate B still has the booking e-mail in their mailbox.
Unless they go over to delegate A and have a discussion, they may potentially take different action on the booking and decline it.
This can get worse with the more delegates you have, and I feel that once a delegate has taken action, remaining delegates should have the booking e-mail removed from their mailbox, or a follow up email should be sent to all delegates indicating which other delegate has taken action on the booking.
Additionally, if a delegate forwards their mailbox, whoever it is forwarded to should not be able to take action on the booking, unless they too are a delegate. We have found that even if not set as a delegate, they can still action the message.
Sadly I have not come up with any real solution, other than ensuring that all delegates are in the same office, and just to get them to advise the others once a booking has been actioned.
Did you ever find a solution to this? I'm currently facing the same issue.
