Onedrive, sharepoint limitations when dealing with a large set of files.
A few issues here
Onedrive and sharepoint are extremely limiting when dealing with a large number of files (300,000+). Major issues with trying to sync with the one drive client and its files. Multiple restarts of onedrive are usually required, sometimes it is stuck on "Processing Changes" for days.
Cannot sync more than 300,000 files on onedrive and sharepoint libraries locally, this sounds a little bit ridiculous because the windows file system has no limitation on this.Dropbox and google drive do not have these limitations.

Such new problems are being unveiled everytime and it is frustrating. We literally became salesmen of Microsoft within our organization only to learn about this limitation. There was a massive adoption of Sharepoint Online and OneDrive and then this problem arise. Would appreciate if MS can address this ASAP as it is hampering everyones productivity.

This is a show stopper for adoption of One Drive, and users will shift to GDrive or other drives...MS should fix this on an immediate basis
We have the same problem, and onedrive consume 100% of cpu then computer crash just for sincing 100kb file, our user have lost a lot of work into unsaved office ducuments just by adding an attachment from one drive.
update not resolve the issue.
Workaround : set affinity to one cpu core help but it go back to all core after a reboot
Fixe could be a gpo to limit % of cpu usage
We are counting on you for a swift action
