Make external data import use multiple cores again.
Visio pro 2010, 2013 uses multiple cores 2016 / 365 only use 1 core if you do an external data import from excel. to give you an idea. I have 1 large visio flow and I import the data from excel, the 2010 and 2013 versions of visio need 5 a 6 minutes to complete. Visio 2016 / 365 is after 1 hour on 10%
I tested this behaviour on several pc's from windows 7 up to 10, office 2010 up to office 365, 32 and 64 bit. and. My last try to see if this problem was gone was a i9-7980XE 128GB ram and m.2 ssd 790 pro
everything freshly installed. but the same issue remains.
So please make in visio 2019 / 365 the import from external data use multiple cores again.

Visio runs terribly. I am on the verge of ditching the **** program because I cannot use it with somewhat large files.
It's really strange not to use the available capacity of the computer. It downgrades the number of posibillities of Microsoft products which can't be the intention of Microsoft.
So please reconsider this strange decision and let us have full advantage of the power of our comuters in combnation with all the posibillities of the Microsoft software
It is a shame not to use the available capacity of the computer anymore! The same as decided not to use the full capacity of my brain... This doesn't mak sense and will harm the Microsoft's name.
Please reconsider this strategic step
